What is David Cameron Doing?

Former British prime minister and new Foreign Secretary, David Cameron is a warmonger, of that there can be no doubt. In the supplied link, Peter Hitchens looks at his track record and wonders what he has in store for his second appearance at the rodeo:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-12913015/PETER-HITCHENS-David-Camerons-job-safe-intent-rattling-sabre-again.html

Yet the person...(who, it has to be said, lacks any great record of achievement in any area of life, apart from the feathering of his own nest) is now Foreign Secretary. And what does he do? Is he chastened by his past blunders? No, he has got out his sabre and is rattling it. While the rest of the country settled down to turkey and plum duff, he gave an interview in which he growled that Iran must be sent 'an incredibly clear message' that its current behaviour 'will not be tolerated'. He proclaimed that Britain would work with allies to 'develop a really strong set of deterrent measures' against Tehran.

2024 Dangerous Times

We could go the wrong way or the right way. Wrong would be underestimating Russia and keeping on prodding the bear. Wrong would be backing Israel any longer. Israel has lost the plot and needs to be brought to heel. Wrong would be thinking another scamdemic would do the trick, and that we need more government oversight, controls and lack of bodily autonomy.

The right way would be to seal borders against illegal migrants, stop trying to start WWIII, stop with the crazy climate catastrophe nonsense and give people back their lives.

2024 is the year we'll find out which way we're headed. We are likely headed for a financial collapse, world war, and another takedown of the western world through lockdowns and other stupid measures. If this does transpire, will people take it this time, or will there be revolution? We came damn close in 2020/2021.

Stephen Fry Cancelled

I'm not normally one to accept the culture of cancellation, but on this I have to say it is justified. Britain's so-called 'national treasure', Stephen Fry spoke against what he saw as a culture of anti-Semitism becoming the norm.

I haven't seen his broadcast, but did he also mention the atrocities being committed by Israel in Gaza right this minute? If he spoke about one, and yet failed to condemn the other in the same sentence, then as far as I'm concerned, Stephen Fry is an apologist. We see you Stephen Fry, we see you for what you stand for and what you are.

https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1849077/stephen-fry-israel-christmas-message-channel-4

Following his “Alternative Christmas Message” on Channel 4 today, Mr Fry - who is of Jewish heritage - has been accused of spreading propaganda for Israel as they continue their retaliatory bombings of Gaza following the Hamas terrorist attacks of October 7. The TV star pointed to a huge rise in antisemitism in the UK following the attack, and claimed it was the “one acceptable form of racism”.

His critics fiercely accused of him of “playing the victim” and ignoring the suffering of Palestinians in the besieged Gaza. However, others praised the “beautiful” message and its stance against antisemitism.

King Charles 2023 Christmas Message

What was that? I've just seen what I think is the worst Christmas message given by a reigning British Monarch. I'll have to see it again, but just off the top of my head after having sat through this nonsense:

Charles hardly ever mentioned the Commonwealth (I think I heard it said once).

Did he mention his own family? They're probably there, I'll review but if you blinked you missed it. [Upon review, he never mentions any of his children or grandchildren by name, but he says the word family a couple of times and shows pictures of them doing stuff.]

I heard the word conflict once, genocide seems to be something you don't talk about these days.

When it comes to religion, bear in mind this is a Christian festival, honouring the birth of Jesus. What I've just witnessed is a pseudo Christian message spliced with woke, the new religion worshipping the Earth. In this woke world we can be better people from within ourselves, forget about the will of God.

Charles never mentions his own journey, and of his relationship with God. That, I think, is the biggest omission, is Charles even Christian?

He's got to go, this is no King.

Did Ukraine Lose and the Media Fail to Report It?

Speculation is mounting that Russia is now demanding the complete surrender of Ukraine. Russia won, and if Ukraine do not surrender, it will be completely destroyed.

This could all be bollocks, however the amount of activity by Russian forces along the frontline has ramped up in recent days, suggesting they are about to mount a big push.

Remember, I called the invasion real and the time of it back in 2022, right when MSM were saying it wasn't going to happen.

This is a really simple, if grisly equation:

1. The Ukraine ran out of young men before Russia ran out of young men;

2. Russia is militarised;

3. When it comes to equipment, form follows function, and everything Russian is designed for the task, while the western aid has come up short. NATO equipment is too fiddly, too techie, typical well engineered crap.

4. Russia can supply itself, whatever it wants, whenever it wants and the sanctions are an act of self harm on the part of NATO and its allies.

It'll be interesting to see how the US choose to spin this. Coming right after the loss in Afghanistan (which was the biggest ever loss by a Great Power since time began), this will be a massive fail. The world will no longer trust the US and NATO.

https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/russian-special-flight-squadron-lands-in-dc-ukraine-war-to-end-russia-lays-out-terms-of-surrender

The terms given to Washington, DC for Ukraine are:

Complete Ukraine surrender.

Complete surrender of all military equipment.

Russian territory will range from Karkhov to Odessa, and gives Russia complete control of Black Sea coast.

Western Ukraine cannot join NATO, or have __any__ military aid.

Russia does not care who controls western Ukraine, and have openly offered it to Poland.

Detroit Pistons - Sell the Team

Who owns the NBA's Detroit Pistons? They could beat the single season worst run of losses. They sit on 25 straight losses right now, after going down 119-111 to the Utah Jazz. Two more losses and they're on their own as the worst losing run in history in a single season. And they're four losses away from setting the worst losing run in history when considering adjoining seasons.

C'mon, the Pistons have won titles, they're not perennial losers like the Clippers. The owner needs to sell up, he's clearly got no idea how to put together a winning team.

Prince Harry's Win

It is a win folks, I read a lot of people saying it wasn't, but nah, he achieved a significant win.

I embed the below video as I think it is balanced. But, I'd add by saying that once you go down this road, there really is no going back. The press will now be after Prince Harry, they'll be predatory and he can no longer expect positive stories about him or his family. All these journalists know one another and work alongside each other, they marry one another and work for whoever pays them. It is like a tribe and only a few are in it. I suspect this is why the British Royal Family never, or very rarely sue. It becomes a downward spiral, when positive news is what is sought.

Cook Strait Connection

With the government refusing to fund the cost blowout of the proposed upgrade to the Cook Strait ferry service run by KiwiRail, is it time to revisit the idea of a Cook Strait tunnel?

I addressed the feasibility of such a project here: https://kenhorlor.blogspot.com/2016/01/cook-strait-tunnel.html

The government has turned down KiwiRail: https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/504650/interislander-ferry-fleet-project-to-wind-down-after-being-denied-further-government-funding

New Zealand is a funny little country at times. It always chases the newest fad, and ditches the old quickly. Problem is, when the fad is no longer viable or is proven to be a dud, nothing is left to revert back to. This is what has happened to NZ's transport network. Rail and coastal shipping have been left to atrophy while the country got carried away with road and air transport. Now, the chickens are coming home to roost. NZ needs to think longer term, keeping all options available for a robust system. This is vital as the country has many rivers, and a long thin country made up of many islands. Keeping the country connected means juggling everything, not just relying on a few options.

Winston Peters Going After Media

I've elevated Winston Peters to, Lord Winston.

Go get 'em Winnie. For the record, these people turned on us all. They were clearly serving their paymasters, the criminal Labour government of New Zealand. Now they want to be seen as independent. Yeah...nah...no mercy.

And while we're at it, cut ALL government advertising to only the essentials across all media, not just state owned.

https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political/503394/deputy-prime-minister-winston-peters-attacks-state-funded-media-independence

"Well, we'll see the speed at which TVNZ and RNZ - which are taxpayer owned - understand this new message. We'll see whether these people, both the media and journalists - are they independent? Well, isn't that fascinating, I haven't seen evidence of that in the last three years."

He then laughed, and said "you can't defend $55 million of bribery, cannot defend $55m of bribery. Get it very clear".

That last remark was a reference to the Public Interest Journalism Fund, a three-year $55m contestable fund for journalists initially set up to shore up public interest media during the Covid-19 pandemic, which was wound up in July.

This included funding for 219 jobs and 22 industry development projects. Political coverage was exempted from eligibility to benefit from it. The fund was administered by NZ On Air.

RNZ's charter requires the broadcaster to be independent, including providing "reliable, independent, and freely accessible news and information".

While the organisation is funded by the government, by law no ministers of the Crown or person acting on their behalf may give direction to RNZ relating to programming, newsgathering or presentation, or standards, and cannot have staff removed.

ACT in the New Zealand Government

The Coup in the USA

I've been wondering, when exactly did the United States become a sham of a free country?

Was it the rigged election in 2020, and the installation of a President with dementia? Joe Biden isn't running anything.

Was it the election of Barack Obama, the architect of literally nothing constructive?

Was it the seizing of power by George W Bush after the dead heat of his contest with Al Gore?

Nope, it appears obvious now that the coup was the assassination of John F Kennedy in 1963. From that point on everything has been a sham. The CIA, and what is often called the Deep State killed him.

Since the scamdemic in 2020, and the resulting controls, pharmaceutical interventions, censorship and quite frankly completely authoritarian measures - we can see them. They're above ground and we can see them.

So, Americans, now you know.

National/ACT/NZFirst Must Deliver

I feel a great darkness is being lifted. For the first time in many years I can actually see New Zealand having a future. Things have been so bad, for so long. Watching New Zealand circle the drain has been agonising. But, my initial reaction to this government: the little country has a chance. It could survive but it has to rid itself of WEF agendas and globalist tyranny. Don't let us down, we are playing for all the marbles here, this is not tiddlywinks. Saddle up, spurs on, this is going to be a long hard ride.

More later....still thinking.

In recent years, they've fallen below the English Football League and are now in the sixth division, or National League North. For a few months it was looking like they may fold, but no, they've received a rescue led by Michelle Harness, a local businesswoman. Phew.

Sunak an Installed PM

Sonia Poulton makes a compelling case, Rishi Sunak was installed at No.10 by bankers, to bring in Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC's), otherwise known as the cashless society.

In New Zealand, going cashless would be the end. The country experiences frequent natural disasters where electricity gets knocked out. Without cash in pockets during these times, all hell would break loose. Going cashless is an existential crisis and only a fool, or the enemy would insist on going down that path.

The NBA's Houston Rockets have won six straight games. They have turned their fortunes around with some clever player acquisitions. NBA Cup

The new NBA in-season tournament is a good idea. They don't admit it, but I think this is an attempt to address an ongoing problem of regular season games becoming far less competitive than post season contests. Regular season games, especially those before Christmas have become shooting exhibitions. I've complained about this before, and found a weight of evidence to show that these games appear to have an element of at least tacit understandings allowing open looks.

We'll see how this pans out, but these games have money on the line and so the players are likely to go for it:

The Dreaded TMO

Naturally, all of New Zealand are talking about the Television Match Official, or TMO. The TMO played a critical role in the Rugby World Cup 2023, especially in the final.

Everyone is calling for consistency in decision making. I agree, but don't feel inconsistency is what determined the outcome of the match.

I do believe the TMO played a critical part and did influence the outcome, but I'm not seeing people understand how this was done. The TMO slowed the game down, allowing pauses to occur, and this allowed the weaker team, the team noticeably running out of gas to have timeouts, regroup, and set their defense again. This helped South Africa as the game wore on as they were the team that needed the rests.

Think politically too; World Rugby want to expand the game. If New Zealand are always winning, people other than rugby purists are not going to be so interested. Every year, new laws come along to try and neuter the power of the NZ game, and now we have match officials actively interfering.

This is statement of fact, not sour grapes. NZ had their chance to win and blew it. Credit goes to South Africa, but the rugby governing body have got to sort this nonsense out, they're turning rugby into something akin to American Football, with constant stoppages.

October 29, 2023

Rugby World Cup 2023 - Final

South Africa 12 - 11 New Zealand

New Zealand scored the only try, but South Africa won their fourth Rugby World Cup and became the greatest World Cup winning rugby team of all time.

New Zealand had their chances. They failed to convert the one try and had a 50 metre penalty kick that went wide. Either of these kicks would have put NZ in front.

South Africa never really looked like scoring a try, but they defended resolutely, and had physical dominance for much of the game, especially in the first half. They had NZ playing their game.

NZ did not play well in key areas. Its ball handling was flawed with too many players taking their eye off the ball. And NZ did not ring the changes when adjustments were needed. It looked to me as if the team had decided to make replacements at appointed times and they just stuck to that. When replacements were made, they had an instant impact, but not enough minutes to turn that into points.

Here's my way of looking at it: when the NZ captain, Sam Cane was off for good, they needed to inject Sam Whitelock at that point, to level the ship and provide experience and leadership. Then, at halftime, change the first five eighth (fly half), and early in the second half, off comes the halfback Aaron Smith and the winger Will Jordan.

My main gripe, however, is with the refereeing and the direction the game is taking. The referees have too much influence on the game. Both teams received two yellow cards. The NZ captain had his yellow upgraded to red and so NZ was down to 14 men for the rest of the match. But, the South Africa captain also received a yellow for head to head contact, and yet this did not get upgraded. Inconsistency such as this has got to be sorted. Did this matter in the end? Probably not, as South Africa received its next yellow soon after the South Africa captain came back on, so for the remainder of the match they were down to 14 men as well, it became a 14 man contest.

Once the game is reduced to 14 men, teams must adjust and this influences how teams play, which lessens the spectator experience. If teams had stayed at 15 men apiece, the score may have ended the same, but the fans would see a proper game, not one that resembles a shambles.

For New Zealand, the plus is that this team even made the final. Leading in to this tournament, many considered them to be the worst All Blacks team in a long time. So, they achieved above expectations, but looking ahead, the new coach Scott Robertson has to introduce his brand of rugby and get things back on track.

Rugby Explained to a German

Rugby World Cup 2023 Semi-Final: England v South Africa

South Africa have pipped England to advance to the final of the Rugby World Cup, where they'll face New Zealand's powerful All Blacks. I notice England fans are criticising the New Zealand referee, and claiming their side was better.

That's not how I saw the match. England lacked creativity and relied on their defense while on attack they were kicking all the time. Their defense held well, but they ended up giving away possession, so while they often held field position, they were unable to capitalise on it.

South Africa were clearly the better team, but they were their own worst enemy at times. When in possession they'd often cough the ball up, giving England the ball. Thus, when you look at the game stats, you'll see England had more possession, but South Africa made the clean breaks, and beat defenders.

Crucially, South Africa scored the only try. This came after they brought on replacements which actually improved their team performance. They got better with replacements, while England got worse with theirs.

Another factor must be fatigue. It has been a long tournament with many days between games. South Africa have had tougher games, while England have had an easier run. South Africa looked tired.

Will this matter in the final? New Zealand have an extra day's rest, and their semi-final was a stroll in the park. They should be fresher and have had the advantage of seeing what South Africa bring. Clearly, the final will be a tough encounter, but NZ must go in as favorites given they don't appear so tired.

South Africa 16 v England 15

Did the Working Class Desert NZ Labour in 2023?

Left-wing writer and activist, Chris Trotter lays out what he thinks are the reasons for working class New Zealanders voting against their traditional home - the Labour Party.

I have been saying for years now that the working stiff in New Zealand needs to ditch Labour and find another voice. I don't believe right-wing is the answer either, nor is racial division. A voice has to be found that can unite all working people once again, under the one banner, building a New Zealand for all Kiwis.

https://pointofordernz.wordpress.com/2023/10/19/chris-trotter-losing-the-working-class/

I ALWAYS WONDERED what it would take to detach the New Zealand working class from Labour. Not all of the working-class, obviously, but enough to strip the party of the demographic heft that, for more than a century, has made it a decisive electoral player. Now I know, but it took a fair few wrong guesses before I got there.

Be careful following the mainstream media as they are full of it and often wrong in their assessment. Right now, National have a paper thin majority, which is likely to evaporate after special votes are counted. That means NZ First are back and able to bring some sanity to Parliament.

The problem hasn't been solved though. The NZ Parliament still kept us locked up under lockdown despite having done no wrong, and they tried to kill or injure us with the poisonous jab. So, National and ACT are not to be trusted any more than the other bunch of criminals.

New Zealand v Ireland - RWC 2023 Quarterfinal

One of the best games ever played at a Rugby World Cup has just been played, with New Zealand defeating World number 1 Ireland, 28-24. For me, the critical moment was when NZ held Ireland up over the line, preventing a try which would have seen them take the lead, then from the resulting goal line drop kick, Ireland fumbled the ball. The pressure of never holding the lead and always having to play catch up told in the end.

Some have commented that Ireland could not win despite having 16 on the field all game, which is a dig at the referee, Englishman Wayne Barnes. But he didn't do too badly, he's biased against NZ, but his performance wasn't dire.

Then again, NZ did well defending when down to 14 men twice in the match.

So, this was one of NZ's gutsiest performances, the All Blacks showed why they're total legends. My man of the match was Ardie Savea, he was everywhere and gave it everything, including scoring a swan-dive style try.

NZ General Election 2023 - Early Voting

We are seeing interesting turnout results with only a few days of voting remaining in the New Zealand General Election. The number of people voting is well down on 2020, but ahead of 2017.

Do Not Vote Early

Early voting has begun for the New Zealand General Election 2023. The polls close at 7pm on October 14th, and between now and then you can cast your vote at any voting place across the country.

Given the unsecured way voting occurs, with ballots placed into an unlocked cardboard box, I suggest voters DO NOT vote early. Leave things until the last minute. This prevents interference with ballots. Who knows what may happen to that piece of paper if you vote now.

I'm voting late, on October 14th preferably, and I'm voting for a party currently outside parliament. For me, that's a first, but I refuse to vote for any of the criminals that call themselves MP's, or their parties for that matter. They should all be prosecuted for crimes against humanity, and their parties banned.

Ireland vs All Blacks: Rugby World Cup 2023

I heard former All Blacks coach, Steve Hansen talking about how the All Blacks can beat Ireland. He mentioned that the All Blacks are the last team to have beaten them. That was back in July 2022, and since then Ireland have been on a winning streak. There have been close games, with Australia and Samoa having had a chance to topple them, so their winning cannot be assumed.

What Hansen was saying is the All Blacks have to avoid going wide too early. They have to keep it in the middle, and get Ireland's big forwards to bunch up defending. Then, when the time is right, go wide and rely on the skill and speed of the Kiwis. They must contest everything, including lineouts. Also of interest was his call to limit Sexton. By cutting down his options with Ireland, their whole game is affected.

Will the New Zealand coach, Ian Foster heed this advice? I don't have him as a thinker. He's a copycat, a classic assistant. He just goes along and hopes what worked in the past will work this time round.

What do you think?

New Zealand General Election 2023

The New Zealand General Election is only weeks away and the only thing to stand out: NZ First is back. It is not a case of will they make the 5% threshold, but a case of can they make 10 or even 15%?

Winston Peters seems to be back in form, and his sidekick Shane Jones is in a support role and being feisty; could Jones win Northland?

Back in 2020, voters dropped NZ First in droves, preferring to switch to Labour and Jacinda Ardern. They'd been panicked by the so-called pandemic and turned to Mommy Dearest. She was evil of course, and people soon realised. Now in public opinion polls, Labour cannot get more than 30% popular support.

Still lingering around are the useless Greens. And then we have ACT and their weasel of a leader David Seymour. These two parties represent the worst of all worlds, on the one hand being dreamers and grasping lunatics, while on the other being prepared to sell their own mothers for a few pennies. Both parties are loathsome.

Maori party? They'll never amount to much.

And no minor parties have come through the middle. They're all too disorganised, and too incoherent. NZ First have some candidates who represent resistance to lockdowns and mandates, so for now, we'll just have to hope they get in this time.

Greens Co-leader Degree or Not?

The New Zealand Greens co-leader, James Shaw was claiming to have a degree he did not complete. He has claimed to have a BA from Victoria University of Wellington, but yesterday he amended his LinkedIn to say he only studied at VUW, but did not finish it.

This calls into question his MSc from the University of Bath in the UK. Entry criteria to their MSc is usually an undergraduate degree with a 2:1 or higher. NZ only attaches these awards to honours degrees, however for an ordinary bachelors, a 2:1 is equivalent to an average grade of A- or higher.

I found this resource on the degree James Shaw says he has:

For this postgraduate level course, you will need to have the work experience, commitment and ability to tackle a demanding programme whilst continuing with your working life. This course is not for recent graduates who have no work experience. Participants will normally hold a first degree (not necessarily in a management discipline), or will meet the School of Management entry requirements by demonstrating appropriate intellectual and professional competence to undertake the programme.

Shaw may have met alternative entry requirements "by demonstrating appropriate intellectual and professional competence" but I'd still like to see his degree certificate and transcripts. What about you? Anyone who says they have a degree when they do not can say anything, true or not.

Readers can find references to Shaw all over the internet, here's AIESEC on their alumni:

With a BA from Victoria University of Wellington and an MSc in Responsibility in Business Practice from the University of Bath’s School of Management, James Shaw spent five years in AIESEC, taking up roles such as Local Committee President of AIESEC Victoria, President of AIESEC New Zealand and acted as a Project Manager in AIESEC International. Armed with extensive experience in business sustainability and consulting, James eventually turned to Politics and joined the New Zealand Green Party in 2007. He is currently Member of Parliament in the New Zealand Parliament, having won a seat in the 2014 General Election, and is Co-leader of the New Zealand Green Party.

Lockdown 2.0

The political virus known as Covid-19 could be released again with the US Presidential elections due in 2024.

American universities are starting to introduce mask mandates, and the below video says further restrictions will be rolled out from September this year.

https://madmaxworld.tv/watch?id=64eceb345eb6e73fb396650c

As The CDC, White House, and TSA deny that they are going to rollout COVID mandates; we see universities institute mask mandates, schools closing due to vaxxed teachers calling in sick, and MSM ratcheting up COVID lock-down propaganda. At the same time, Biden gives 1.4 billion to Big Pharma to make a new mutated COVID vaccine just in time for a September rollout. Once vaxxholes start dropping dead as they accept the vaccine into their lives, the government will use this excuse to lock-down the country again. The question is ...are you going to comply?

Did Hipkins Just Blow It?

I believe New Zealand Prime Minister, Chris Hipkins just blew the 2023 election. He's announced he won't deal with Winston Peters and NZ First after the polls close.

This is a big mistake as the effect must be to drive Labour voters away to NZ First. That's because the Labour voters won't want to see National and ACT running the country alone. If Labour voters switch to NZ First, they have the chance to put a stop to National's excesses by making Peters as powerful as possible within Parliament.

No doubt Hipkins is thinking the opposite, that by ruling NZ First out the Labour support will return to him and stop playing footsie with Winston Peters. But that overlooks the past few years and the pain his policies have caused. A far better approach would be to say; he'd look at the results after the polls close and then consider who to deal with.

But, with the approach he's taking, people remember the pain and back NZ First to be a handbrake on National/ACT.

https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political/496678/instability-and-chaos-labour-rules-out-a-partnership-with-nz-first

Labour leader Chris Hipkins has ruled out New Zealand First as a possible coalition partner after this year's election, saying Winston Peters and his party would cause "instability and chaos".

Labour leader Chris Hipkins confirmed the decision at a media conference today.

"New Zealand First has become a party more interested in toilets than the issues that matter most to New Zealanders," said Hipkins.

The Russian mercenary, Yevgeny Prigozhin has been reported as being killed in a plane crash. He was flying from Moscow to St Petersburg on a private jet.

Excess Deaths, Births Down, Disability Up

The official figures are much harder to hide now. Death is death, there isn't any hiding from that:

https://hatchardreport.com/deaths-are-up-natural-births-are-down-and-disability-is-up/

...deaths are up 14%, net live birth increase down 28%, disability up 37.5%. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know where this is going. Mistakes were made, and now they cannot be hidden or denied any longer. Some hard questions must be asked and answered.

Our media is compliant and lazy in a coverup. They have enjoyed government support.

What a Weird World

We are living in strange times.

Just think about what has transpired these last few years. In 2020 most of the developed world went through lockdowns. This was where, perfectly healthy populations were kept under house arrest for the crime of they might catch something, that had an almost zero chance of killing them.

Then, in 2021 the jab followed. Several effects can be observed from the jab. If we take the average rate of deaths 2010-2019, in 2020 deaths actually fell. But in 2021, deaths increased compared to that earlier trend. But here's the thing, spikes in excess deaths occurred directly after the first, second and third (booster) jab. But, no-one is allowed to talk about this.

Correlation is not necessarily causation. The first jab, nothing correlates, the second jab is rolled out and excess deaths spike once more, correlation could just be coincidence. Then the booster is rolled out and the same thing happens again. Three times a coincidence? Err, no, causation, the jab is causing the excess deaths.

Then something else happened. We found out the CIA killed JFK. But the media do not talk about it, rarely report it, the CIA has not been shut down, everyone just goes along - oh well. What?

I'm not old enough to remember the assassination of JFK, the sitting US President, but I was alive and I grew up hearing about it - all the time. I clearly remember the assassination of his brother, former US Attorney-General and then Presidential candidate, Bobby Kennedy. As I grew up, JFK conspiracy theories proliferated; but they can be grouped into three broad categories: the CIA, The Mafia or Fidel Castro did it. An alternative is any combination of those three. This was a man shot while in a motorcade parading through the streets of Dallas, Texas in broad daylight. So, it was bold as brass with shiny knobs on.

Over time these theories tended to merge and focus on the CIA. A movie put out by Oliver Stone in the early 1990's pretty much laid the blame with the CIA. Now, it is fact, but fact is now ignored. That's really weird.

And we have the WEF openly talking about eating bugs, banning personal cars, imposing climate lockdowns and placing micro chips under our skin, while making all payments and life in general linked to those chips. And the people making these statements are taken seriously, are widely reported and not locked up for being insane.

My next question: how do I get off this planet?

Last question: I asked this back during lockdowns and I'll ask it again; who is running things? It certainly isn't Joe Biden. He's a senile old fool and cannot walk and chew gum at the same time. He is meant to have won an election in 2020 while hiding in his basement and making speeches from his front gate to an audience of a few assembled media. From this platform he gained more votes than any President in history.

Then, once elected, and prior to being sworn in a largely peaceful protest occurred in Washington DC on January 6th, 2021. Largely peaceful as some agent provocateurs did incite. Oh really? Oh yes, they were identified by documentarians following the protest on the ground, independent reporters experienced in the Hong Kong protests that had occurred years earlier. Then, after that day of infamy, it was Congress, both the House of Representatives and the Senate hiding behind a wall of steel while being protected by the military. A coup was held that day, or was it back when JFK was shot, and in 2020 they revealed themselves?

New Zealand Sold to BlackRock

Things just keep getting worse. Now New Zealand has sold the country to BlackRock, the investment firm that owns a piece of just about everything.

Make no mistake, if NZ attempts to go 100% renewable, that's it, failed state.

Prime Minister Chris Hipkins made the announcement in Auckland this morning, saying the government is partnering with investment company BlackRock to launch the fund with the goal of making New Zealand the first country in the world to reach 100 percent renewable electricity.

"It will be BlackRock's largest single-nation decarbonisation investment to date," he said.

"I am absolutely stoked that we've been able to secure this world-leading investment in New Zealand businesses and it's proof of our ambitious climate targets having the world's attention.

Cashless UK?

The UK is now going cashless. Be very afraid.

Funny this would pop up now as I've just experienced an example of how a cashless society would make things so much more difficult. I had a guy working in the garden, young chap needed some materials which would cost about $30.00 down at the hardware store. I don't have my car, he can pop away and get the items. So I gave him cash out of my pocket and away he went, he was back in half an hour. If we lived in a cashless society, I'd have to make the trip somehow, or the gardener would have to use his own money and have me reimburse him electronically, or we'd both go to the hardware store. Clearly, this is complexity that is unneeded, we need cash in the system to oil the wheels.

August 06, 2023

Australia Going Cashless?

Rumour has it that Australian banks have started removing cash from the system, and that some banks are restricting cash withdrawals to sums less than $500.

This could mean many things; the first thing that comes to mind is financial meltdown, the banks are stressed and going under. When a run starts, banks limit withdrawals.

But more likely; Australia is moving to a dystopian future model where everyone will be tracked. All transactions controlled.

This means Australia will fail. It is as certain as night follows day. Cash requires no electricity, and is an immediate transaction. The same banknote can travel right across the city and through several hands in one day, and never be subject to permissions by a computer somewhere.

If this is true, the land Downunder will truly be going under.

Twitter is now X

Yes, Elon Musk has gone fully fruit loop. When not making the world's worst car, and inventing tunnel boring machines decades after the technology was mastered, and becoming the world's biggest welfare beneficiary with the US taxpayer paying for him to crash spacecraft; he buys Twitter and wipes it out by rebranding it as X. The letter X is already used by adult content operators online, and is a letter in the alphabet.

Musk, destroyer of equity. How long can this go on and is the US taxpayer actually paying for this nonsense?

Car Carrier Burns

Yet again, we have a Car Carrier catching fire and the crew abandoning ship. This fire is on a ship off the Dutch coast. It is reported the fire started in an electric vehicle (EV). There are 498 EV's on board (earlier reports say 25, that's wrong).

The problem with fires like this is they're very hard to put out. EV's burn intensely and the fire cannot be extinguished. On a ship like this, water can only be used sparingly as the vessel is naturally top heavy anyway, and if you pump water on board the boat can capsize.

EV's are dangerous. If they do catch fire, they burn furiously. This ship will likely sink or be sunk. But imagine an EV fire in a parking building, the heat could easily weaken the structure and lead to collapse.

EV's aren't suitable for everyday transport across the whole fleet. The vehicles themselves are heavy due to the batteries, wearing out roads and bridges. And old parking buildings were never built to carry the extra weight. As they age and you add more weight, you shorten the life of buildings. Then, add the risk of fire that cannot be put out.

You'll never run out of reasons as to why EV's are a dud.

 https://www.cbsnews.com/news/cargo-ship-fire-netherlands-ev-electric-vehicle-battery-north-sea-freemantle-highway/

The Dutch coast guard said Thursday that the cause of the fire was unclear and that only about 25 of the vehicles on the ship were EVs, but in the audio of an emergency call released by Dutch broadcaster RTL, someone can be heard saying "the fire started in the battery of an electric car."

The era of global warming has ended and “the era of global boiling has arrived”, the UN secretary general, António Guterres, has said after scientists confirmed July was on track to be the world’s hottest month on record.

“Climate change is here. It is terrifying. And it is just the beginning,” Guterres said. “It is still possible to limit global temperature rise to 1.5C [above pre-industrial levels], and avoid the very worst of climate change. But only with dramatic, immediate climate action.”

Meghan Markle Product Idea

Yesterday, I had a conversation with someone about how Meghan Markle could make money. It was put to me that she's run out of options, what with her Spotify podcast being cancelled and her Netflix documentary series being completed.

I disagreed and think there are a number of things she can do, and that's why WME have taken her on. They only handle clients with a certain throughput, they're not handling the minnows. So, she has existing turnover, being the sales of items she's worn over the years and for which she receives a commission. The usual benchmark is 7% of the price tag out the door. This is her starting figure.

But where I think she could clean up is with cosmetics aimed at brown skin girls aged 18-35. My back of the envelope calculation is there are about 12 million such women in America. And before anyone challenges this, I did look it up and worked from a population pyramid. The brown skinned population of America is growing, and it is younger. As well, there are more women than men.

I call these women, the Moroccan look. But they need cosmetics aimed at them and their skin tones. A lot of these cosmetics are now being promoted on the internet, and are not necessarily in stores or on cosmetic counters. This is where the opportunity lies; in the online space.

If we take just 5% of this potential cohort, that is 600,000 customers. If they each spend $250 a year on cosmetics of the kind I'm talking about, that is $150 million in sales that are achievable. Take 7% of that figure, and Ms Markle looks at bringing in $10.5 million every year. A nice earner.

And that's just the start....

Harry and Meghan

Reports are coming out almost daily now, that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are having a 'trial separation'. This usually means one of two things; either they are divorcing and this is the softening up process toward that end, or they are rebranding and positioning themselves for other endeavours.

I got this one wrong. I predicted the marriage wouldn't get to the end of 2020. But it turns out Harry is stubborn and will not accept he got this badly wrong. I mean, what was he thinking? He's royalty, not celebrity - big difference.

Oh, and I notice the claims resurfacing, saying that Meghan Markle had no money when she married the foolish prince. These claims seem to be a concerted disinformation campaign run by those who want to discredit the young lady. I have accurately calculated how much she was worth when she married Harry, it was in the ballpark of US$3-3.5 million. Read the full report here:

Victoria Cancels Commonwealth Games 2026

What is Dictator Dan up to now? The Premier of Victoria, Dan Andrews has announced the State of Australia cannot afford to host the Commonwealth Games in 2026. Melbourne last held the event in 2006, so what gives?

The first thing that comes to mind is that forecasts suggest few tourists will visit. That's because Victoria now has the reputation as the lockdown state. The second thing that comes to mind is that he's been told more lockdowns are coming in 2026. Yea...be very afraid.

Meanwhile, Christchurch mayor, Phil Mauger says Christchurch can do it, and looking at it, it appears he's right, here's how things line up:

  • New Stadium in central city being built (Athletics)
  • Aquatic centre near Hagley Park nearing completion (Swimming and Diving)
  • Convention Centre completed and running (Boxing, Gymnastics, Judo, Squash, Table tennis - if this is too many to cram in, there are other facilities too, such as the Air Force museum, University recreation centre and Lincoln events centre. Each of these on their own can host one of these events)
  • Town Hall refurbished (Weightlifting)
Add the following:

  • Horncastle arena (Netball)
  • AMI Stadium (Sevens)
  • Cowles Stadium, which also has a purpose built badminton building (Badminton, 3x3 basketball)
  • Pioneer (Wrestling)
  • Upgrade existing Hockey
  • Lawn Bowls upgrade
  • All other events are outdoors; such as Mountain Biking on the Port Hills and Cricket at Hagley Oval, a recognised Test venue. Beach Volleyball in The Square.
Perhaps add shooting.

The only thing that would need to be put in is a top level Cycling track.

When the games were held in Christchurch in the 1970's, the University of Canterbury Halls of Residence at Ilam were used as the athletes village. They could look at this again.

Lyttelton and Akaroa harbours can hold limitless numbers of cruise ships. The airport has been expanded and is under-utilised. Talk is of Invercargill being added, fine, but they're not strictly necessary. The facilities are all available within Canterbury. But the taxpayers across NZ would have to stump up.

What do you think?
