Hollywood Crashes

Since the thing in 2020, Hollywood box office takings have tanked; 2025 is a bad year, with flops such as F1: The Movie, but all years leading up have been bad.

Before the thing in 2020, the box office was not great, but it was survivable.

There are many reasons for this collapse, principal amongst them are that they're just not making movies people want to watch. Movies these days are not entertaining, that's it, right there.

LA Fires and Hollywood

California, if it was its own country, would be the fifth largest economy in the world; and by GDP per capita, the richest country in the world. But, the state is facing many challenges, with an exodus to places such as Texas. 

The recent fires in the Los Angeles area have cost approximately $250 billion all told. Areas like the Pacific Palisades and Malibu have been devastated. These areas contain some of the most expensive real estate in the world. Then again, areas such as Altadena have also been devastated, and by most people's standard these houses are also valuable; the average house price being in the $1.3-1.5 million range, with median household incomes of $130k. So, if I'm reading this right, the wealthy elites are severely impacted, along with small business owners providing valuable services. 

Given the above two groups are critical to creating employment, Los Angeles is likely to experience a serious slowdown in its economy. This will have an immediate effect as spending will simply stop. And then people will leave the state. 

Where am I going with this? The federal government must step in. I am not aware what levers are available to the incoming administration, but they need to use all of them; including sacking the Governor, Gavin Newsom, and the Los Angeles city government. Given the importance of LA to the global economy, this one series of events could result in a global slowdown, bank runs, and a crisis amongst insurers. I don't want to sound like a panic merchant, but this could end up being worse than the thing in 2020, simply because the damage will take even longer to repair.

I recently looked at annual box office figures, and found that last year was the worst since 2001. The worst in 23 years (not counting the dreaded plandemic years as they're outliers). Does anyone think Hollywood's output will now improve? Err...if you think that then I've got a bridge in Brooklyn for sale, real cheap too. 

Now, I realise Hollywood is not all of what California is about, it has minerals, manufacturing, agriculture, finance, high tech etc., but the entertainment industry is a large part of the state economy, and it underpins the consumption of large parts of the developed world. With it already failing and about to go terminal - possibly - I'd say this must precipitate some kind of intervention. If the federal government do not, intervene that is, we are talking about millions of people losing their livelihoods worldwide. 

LeBron James Personal Reasons

I wonder what is up with LeBron James? Reports are saying he's in a slump, but in reality his numbers in the NBA are still pretty good. 

There's a lot of speculation doing the rounds as to why he's taking a break for personal reasons. Hmm...

Blink Twice

It is being said that the movie Blink Twice is actually about P Diddy's freak-offs. The girls when they arrive on this island must surrender their phones, and they're all given special perfume which is laced with something to drug them, and cause them to lose their memory. Sounds like Diddy's 1,000 bottles of baby oil?

Then, we have this creepy leaked phone call by Diddy from jail: what are pizza boxes, and what is recycling the plastic?

Drea de Matteo

Something that I missed, award winning actress Drea de Matteo turned to OnlyFans to remain financially viable after her income dried up as a result of her decision to not get the jab.

Ms de Matteo is famous for her roles in such TV shows as The Sopranos and Sons of Anarchy. 

The reason I stumbled upon this information is I saw her talking about the current election cycle in the US, and basically calling out Hollywood for being a bunch of cockwombles (my term, simply interpreting what she said here). 

I have to say, that on top of being rather hot...ahem...she's also principled. What's not to like about that!!

All the real actors are beginning to drop one by one. In the last week we've lost Michael Gambon and David McCallum.

 

The Year 2020

What a weird year this has been and we're only half way through. We had the coronavirus which China appears to have made a worldwide problem, helped along the way by the WHO. The reaction to the virus was completely over the top and has plunged the planet into the deepest Depression seen in hundreds of years.

Then we have Jeffrey Epstein's Island and the arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell. At about the same time someone published the manifest for plane trips to the island on the Lolita Express, Epstein's private jet. Reading the names on that manifest is like reading through the names of the great and the powerful. How many of these names have been arrested thus far? Is that none of them? It's outrageous but there you are.

Adrenochrome: Real or Not?

The story goes that a chemical called Adrenochrome is consumed by rich elites from institutions such as Hollywood, Wall Street, Washington DC, and Royalty. To obtain this chemical they torture young children and then drink their blood. Jeffrey Epstein's island is now believed by many to be one such place where these activities took place.

I can't say whether this is real or not. I simply don't know, but we do know that a long list of celebrities and powerful people visited Epstein's island and that some pretty sick stuff went on there. It was only a matter of time before Epstein and Adrenochrome became firmly linked.

Maybe people are going down the wrong road with this.

I have a different idea and I talk about this in my latest novel, Dana Point. Aliens from Hercules have seeded earth with their species, they visit from time to time to check up on progress. Their society is an hierarchical one based on blood. It is possible to rise up the ranks, but if busted for various crimes they revert to their original blood type at birth. In this ranking order, actors are the lowest (thus no-one from a higher rank would ever become an actor). Bankers and business people are not much better. They too may rise in society but risk falling back down.

If I may be so bold; Hollywood may be trying to consume better blood so they can achieve a faster rise to that of military generals and the like. It is not long to go now before Hercules arrives to assimilate Earth (this assimilation fleet, the hospital ship and the battle to determine the fate of Earth will be the subject of my second novel). Hollywood may know the fleet is about to arrive and be desperate to avoid being placed at the bottom of society.

Prince Harry Back in the UK?

Word coming in is that Harry has been sighted arriving back in the UK. He is said to have taken a private jet and was picked up at the airport in a car with blacked out windows. I wonder, is this the beginning of the end of Woke and Joke?

It could be visa issues, he may have to leave the US before applying for a spousal visa. Or they're getting a divorce. If the latter then this is exactly the timeline I've outlined. Meghan Markle has to move Harry out and be up and running again in Hollywood before she turns 40. After that date she's over the hill in Hollywood, so she has to get a deal or some major endorsements of cosmetic labels and the like before then. Harry would just be in the way. Crudely put, she can't be constantly worried about what the Royals think of things.

Two predictions: Meghan Markle will never set foot in the UK again, and if Harry is back in the UK, his friends and family will go to work to turn him off his wife and it'll be over anyway, even if she hasn't thrown him out. Oh and watch the narrative, Meghan will frame everything so she's the victim, Harry just had too many issues. You know how it works.

Who does Meghan Markle want to be next?

You may be familiar with the mounting evidence that Meghan Markle, aka the Duchess of Sussex, is something of a chameleon, basing her look on who she happens to be copying at the time. There is plenty of evidence out there, just search on YouTube. In the past she has copied Angelina Jolie, Ivanka Trump, and Princess Diana to name a few. Even her wedding dress was a straight copy of that worn by Princess Angela

But who is she trying to transform herself into now? My pick is she's trying to be Zoe Saldana. You may know her from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. Saldana is the second biggest grossing actress in history.

Watch for Meghan Markle to try her look in the not too distant future.

Will Meghan Markle be successful? Doubt it, one key difference between the pair, Ms Saldana is extremely talented, she can act. Not only that but she heats up the screen as well. I don't know if any of you have actually seen Meghan Markle's acting, but let's just say, she can't act and leave it at that.
