Climate Foolishness Out, Industry In

The Greens will be spewing, but the trend now is to rollback all the net-zero nonsense and get back to making stuff, and using clean, efficient energy derived from coal, natural gas, and nuclear. Add to that hydro and geothermal where possible. 

Something we are not going to able to do is power an industrial economy using solar and wind. That's because the energy from these sources is far too dispersed. These sources of energy are uneconomic.

Get with the programme, industrialise.

The Environmental Protection Agency or EPA's new rule cancels a 2009 "endangerment finding" which says that carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases endanger public health and welfare. The Obama-finding is the legal basis for most climate rules under the Clean Air Act covering emissions from cars, power plants and other sources that warm the planet. Court challenges are expected.

The repeal wipes out all greenhouse gas standards for cars and trucks and could open the door to rolling back on rules on power plants and oil and gas sites, according to experts.

Now It's AI, Forget Net-Zero

Have you noticed how, suddenly, no one is pushing all that net-zero nonsense? Yeah, turns out priorities have changed and none of that matters. Now, the new shiny thing is AI. It requires huge amounts of energy, so let's burn more coal. You cannot make this up; it is that shameless and utterly corrupt.

Climate Catastrophe

Just playing around, totally unscientific this, but having a look at temperatures on Earth over the last few million years, what is all the panic about?

Below you'll see I've drawn on a graph, two lines, the orange one to my thinking is the ideal temperature for humans on Earth, while the black vertical line indicates 5 million years ago. Since then, we've always been colder, but right now we appear to be in the hottie goodie zone, ideal for plant life and mammals. 

Basically, drill baby drill.

Australian Media Reaction to Trump at UN

Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese has been chasing headlines recently, but may now find himself out of favour. One must wonder whether Australia will be delivered those submarines...eh what?

I swear, when Trump described wind turbines made by China as useless, while China itself runs on coal and gas, I thought I saw a half-smile from the China desk at the General Assembly. Trump said, they're not stupid, and no, they're not.

A private members bill in the UK seeks to remove 90% of fossil fuels from the economy within the next few years. About 200 MP's support the proposal. Such a law would cause mass starvation and complete societal collapse. You wouldn't find this in a sci-fi movie as it would be too ridiculous:

The climate is always changing, of course, but what is global climate change science all about? The following movie examines the industry that is scamming everyone. If your income depends on selling climate change as a thing, then they'll work at proving that thing and doing something about it, even if it doesn't exist. Sort of like the virus from 2020, which was just the flu and common cold rebranded.

I found the following article interesting and funny. The person being interviewed thinks a new religion is emerging, based around ecology and saving the planet. Look, this is all about politics and money, but disguised as a religious movement, which is quite clever. There’s no question that Greenism is being promoted as a new religion.

Christianity is a dead duck in Europe, and it’s dying in North America. But people need some type of religion, a replacement for Christianity, to hold on to.

People will be encouraged to treat their taxes as tithes to wash away their sins against Mother Nature—much the way they tithed the church to expunge their sins in the Middle Ages. It’s an exact analogy. They’ll buy “carbon credits” as an analog for building cathedrals and monasteries.

The International Monetary Fund canceled a talk with physicist John Clauser after he said, “Climate change is not a crisis.”  

The IMF had invited Clauser, the recipient of a Nobel Prize in Physics, to deliver a Webex speech on July 25. Five days before the event, Clauser was informed his speech had been “postponed.” The lecture has yet to be rescheduled.

The era of global warming has ended and “the era of global boiling has arrived”, the UN secretary general, António Guterres, has said after scientists confirmed July was on track to be the world’s hottest month on record.

“Climate change is here. It is terrifying. And it is just the beginning,” Guterres said. “It is still possible to limit global temperature rise to 1.5C [above pre-industrial levels], and avoid the very worst of climate change. But only with dramatic, immediate climate action.”

We've never really had a proper worldwide discussion about climate change. Is it detrimental or beneficial? It's time to have that discussion, about now:

 

Norway Hypocrites

Sick of listening to Norway telling everyone about their wonderful fleet of electric vehicles? I know I am. Norway would have you believe they're saving the planet.

Except, they're not. Norway are the biggest hypocrites you'll ever find. They've just announced huge new oil and gas investment. 

But don't forget, New Zealand did its part. Yes, that plucky little country in the South Pacific banned oil and gas exploration. James Shaw of the NZ Greens is very proud of that achievement no doubt. I wonder what he thinks about Norway erasing all those gains and then some? Hmm...

The Near Future

This is where we are headed; freedom of movement will disappear this year or next. We had lockdowns educate everyone on you do not have the right of freedom of movement. Geoff Buys Cars outlines how this is coming into effect in England. This is real, not a vague proposal, it is happening. In New Zealand, the right to freedom of movement will be gone soon. I'd add, that's why the failing infrastructure, and ignoring flood damage. No need you see, as roads will not be used, but if you do use them you'll be charged inordinate sums to do so.

Government know the minerals aren't there to make EV batteries affordably. EV's are a trojan horse. They don't want you having a personal means of transport at all. Nothing at all.

And where do these ideas come from? The WEF of course. The WEF must be made illegal and all its adherents drummed out of the workforce and into oblivion.

Sea Levels Rising - Again

Right on cue, following the scamdemic we have more fear peddling. Whole sections of New Zealand are about to be flooded by fast rising sea levels.

Give me a break, have these people got nothing better to do than keep talking about a sea level rise that never happens? It must be the academic time of year to have studies funded.
