Clever Renewable Energy Idea

The movement of the seas provides a useful source of energy that is fairly consistent. It wouldn't be everything to all men, but this thinking is a start. An obvious problem is that when swells are too large, the energy flow would shut down, much the same way wind farms do.

Sustainable and Renewable Energy

New Zealand talks about wind and solar energy all the time. It's a complete nonsense, they're both useless. However, NZ does have two kinds of renewable energy that is abundant and forever - geothermal and tidal. So, why don't we ever hear much about either?

Oh wait, would that be because Big Green capital isn't invested in it, would that be it?

C'mon NZ, the country has abundant geothermal energy, and the strongest tides in the world. NZ's tides are that big, waterways such as Cook Strait are dangerous, famous for its shipwrecks. However, when it comes to using tidal energy, I'm not aware of anyone in the country designing something feasible to harness that power. As long as we have the moon, we have the tides, the tides are free and consistent.

It isn't rocket science.

Tidal energy is a clean, renewable, sustainable resource that is underutilized and represents significant opportunity to meet growing global energy needs, both now and in the future. Water is hundreds of times denser than air, which makes tidal energy more powerful than wind. It is more efficient than wind or solar energy due to its relative density and produces no greenhouse gases or other waste, making it an attractive renewable energy source to pursue.

Renewables Lead to Blackouts

Please take the time to digest the embedded video from UnHerd's, Freddie Sayers. Last week the UK came close to an electrical system collapse. Basically, when the power is required, happens to be the times when solar is not available and wind is variable all the time anyway. Continuing to rely on fancy feelgood methods of electricity generation will result in seriously negative consequences:

New Zealand Sold to BlackRock

Things just keep getting worse. Now New Zealand has sold the country to BlackRock, the investment firm that owns a piece of just about everything.

Make no mistake, if NZ attempts to go 100% renewable, that's it, failed state.

Prime Minister Chris Hipkins made the announcement in Auckland this morning, saying the government is partnering with investment company BlackRock to launch the fund with the goal of making New Zealand the first country in the world to reach 100 percent renewable electricity.

"It will be BlackRock's largest single-nation decarbonisation investment to date," he said.

"I am absolutely stoked that we've been able to secure this world-leading investment in New Zealand businesses and it's proof of our ambitious climate targets having the world's attention.
