John McAfee's Death

Things keep getting weirder. Back in 2019, the man who founded the McAfee antivirus software company said if he was found having committed suicide then it would be an assassination. He went on to say, if he does die that he had a dead man switch which would populate the internet within 24 hours of his death.

John McAfee is dead. Has the document dump occurred and what does it say if it has happened. I haven't heard a thing, but then I'm always the last to know. And given the way things are going at the moment, the media may simply bury whatever was revealed. We live in interesting times.

Cricket: World Test Champions

New Zealand are Champions of the World. I can hardly believe it, the New Zealand cricket team has finally achieved something. Okay, they first did that by becoming the number 1 test team in the world earlier in the year. But now they've got the trophy to prove it. Suck on that Australia!

I almost feel sorry for India losing in the final. They've been on top of the rankings for so long it would've looked odd if they ever fell out of the top two. But in the final they did look ordinary. It was as if they didn't want to be there. Then on the other side, New Zealand clearly wanted it, they played with fire whenever they got a chance in a rain interrupted match.

I've got to stop criticising NZ cricket now. They can rightly say they're champions. Well done.

Facebook Whistleblowers

Must Watch: Facebook is actively demoting COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. They're even suppressing factual content simply to promote the narrative that people must get the jab.

NBA Finals Loom

In the Western Conference we have the LA Clippers and Phoenix Suns facing off, while in the east the Milwaukee Bucks will face either the Philadelphia 76ers or Atlanta Hawks.

I'm sticking my neck out and predicting the championship will go to the Eastern Conference this year. That's because all remaining teams from the east look stronger than either the Clippers or Suns. Add to that, neither team from the west has ever won an NBA crown, while the Clippers have never even been to a finals.

If the Clippers manage to pull it off, it must propel Kawhi Leonard to all-time great contention as he'd already pulled the Toronto Raptors up from nowhere. However, toward the end of the series with the Utah Jazz he suffered an injury and may miss early games against the Suns as well. Can the Clippers do it without him?

Of the remaining teams, my personal favourite would be Atlanta. Their one championship came in 1958. That's a long time between drinks. Remember the recent Al Horford era? Everyone got so excited when they had such a good 2015 regular season, but then they just crashed against Cleveland in the Eastern Conference finals. If they beat the 76ers in game seven tomorrow, they have the chance to go to the Eastern Conference finals again and get the chance to erase that memory.

Labour: Tax on Utes

Where is the CCP National Party on this farmer and tradesperson tax on their Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger. They're nowhere, weak as weasel piss are the CCP National Party of Wokery Aotearoa.

Saw Newshub Nation this morning. In all of it, with the Minister of Transport being interviewed, not once was it put to him or even stated anywhere that this $ 3,000 charge is a tax on hard working, often self-employed businesspeople. This coming right after the worst Depression in the country's history.

So, I'll help the CCP National twits out with some robust and cogent arguments against this charge. However, to begin with I should address the Green's, Julie Anne Genter, who quite misleadingly stated that the amount is tax deductible. Err, wrong, the sum is a capital charge and can only be clawed back as depreciation on the asset. The effect of a capital charge like this will be to put a handbrake on economic growth.

The Minister indicated his main goal was to change buyer behaviour. Okay, let's look at that:

1. Generally, buyer behaviour only changes when you offer something better to solve a problem. Talking 4WD vehicles, you may remember the ubiquitous farm vehicle used to be the venerable Landrover. It still remains better in some applications, most notably climbing steep grades. The Suzuki Jimny is also superior to the Hilux in some applications. But the Hilux won the war overall, and the Ford Ranger is essentially a direct copy of it. That's because, for the bulk of tasks the Hilux does it better than those competing brands. If you want to change behaviour, offer a vehicle that does things better.

2. Will buyers shift to preferred brands? Possibly not, the law of unintended consequences kicks in. What I think will happen is two things; tradesmen (and some farmers) will go bigger, into the 4.5 - 8 tonne range. There they can obtain crew cabs, split bodies, 3-way tippers, tail-lifts, side lifts and small cranes. They're also available 4WD. Then some will move smaller as desired, but start pulling trailers and fitted roof racks. Loads will be less secure this way, resulting in more accidents.

3. Lastly, are engines also taxed? The refurbishment market will skyrocket. Instead of replacing the Hilux, owners will repower with late model units imported from Japan. Basically, you can get an older Hilux and for a quarter the cost of new, make that older Ute look and perform really good.

What we'll see is an ageing fleet, more trucks on the road and more smaller vehicles carrying insecure or undesirable loads. Those are your talking points CCP Nats, get to work, or are you waiting for Beijing's instructions on how to think?

Farmers - Wake Up

With the car tax, err, I mean support for EV's now upon us, time to remind New Zealand farmers how stupid they are. They constantly vote CCP National. This means the other parties don't give a flying fu** about farmers. And CCP National don't care either as they can count on farmers no matter what.

And then Ardern could, possibly, maybe, wink wink, steal or transfer their party votes whichever way she likes, just so Hollywood and the movie makes her look good. Muslims one minute, farmers the next and saving the planet. Everyone must play their part in her rise to superstardom and total wonderfulness.

Here's a suggestion farmers. Get off China's teat and stop thinking the CCP National Party of Wokeland Aotearoa will some day save your sorry arses. They won't, even if they win an election some time this millennium, they'll just give you your money back in order to take it away again in some other way.

No, what you've got to do is create uncertainty. Or join the Greens and use the democratic process to take them over. When I suggested that on Twitter last year, the Greens just about had brain aneurisms they were that apoplectic with rage. But really do it. If farmers got off their fat Hilux-riding arses and behaved strategically, they could shut down the Greens and have an honest debate about the direction of the country. Cosying up to the traitors that are the CCP National Dimwits is not the answer.

They Are Us: It's All About Ardern, Apparently

I don't believe a word of it from Jacinda Ardern's spokesperson. The planned movie about the aftermath of the Christchurch mosque terror attack in NZ must involve Ardern at some level. Why? The movie makers will need to know who said what to whom, how the NZ Cabinet works and how the security services interact.

The movie will be financed in 2021, filmed in 2022 and released in election year 2023. It's all about getting re-elected. It's all about Ardern.

Maybe this will be the start of NZers waking up. Jacinda Ardern is a massive narcissist, she's wrecked the economy, and it's all about her, not the country.

The chosen title for the film is racist. Who is this 'they' business. Ardern used this expression but it was soon dumped by the people for the much better 'we are one.'

Fresh Faces: New Zealand TV News Presenters

In general I don't hold out much hope for the mainstream media free-to-air TV news. However, two people in New Zealand that I can stand to watch are Jenny Suo who reads the news at 10:30pm on TV1, while Oriini Kaipara can often be seen reading the news at 4:30pm over on TV3.

They don't get everything right, sometimes both mispronounce words. Recently, I heard Ms Kaipara refer to Hanmer Springs as Hamner Springs. That grated a little. Another common mistake presenters make is calling the Cawthron Institute, Cawthorn. Grr. But the two at least try to sound clear, and slow down to say each word. Quite often, these days presenters enunciate just a slurry of flubber, you'd be lucky to know what was being said. They must have their mouths full of marbles while speaking. So, with these two there is hope, we just need both channels to start reporting fact instead of government propaganda.

WARNING: Blood Contamination

Bad news, turns out the mRNA vaccines being touted and rolled out around the world are a serious health hazard, here's why:

https://voicesforfreedom.co.nz/new-study-shows-potential-for-serious-harm/

In a nutshell, it shows that SARS-CoV-2 proteins generated from the vaccine were present in the plasma of vaccine recipients (plasma is the colourless fluid part of blood, lymph, or milk, in which red or white blood cells or fat globules are suspended). These proteins are not supposed to be in the blood

Coronation Street Improves

Recently, I've been critical of TV soap Coronation Street. The storylines have been very poor and the characters lacked consistency. However, recently things have improved markedly and I note any episode written by Nessah Muthy is really good. I checked who she was and found that she's won awards for her work and is a recent addition to the team in 2021. Well done Ms Muthy, you're a real talent.
