Things we learnt during 2022
What a year 2022 has been. Just think of all we have learnt. Conspiracy theories became conspiracy fact. Makes one wonder what 2023 has in store.
Here's a quick list of what we have learnt:
- Twitter conspires with governments to shut down dissenting political opinion. The great expulsion of Twitter users during January and February 2021 was real;
- Facebook do the same.
- Twitter hires a lot of former FBI people and Facebook a lot of former CIA people. Are they really former?
- The CIA killed JFK.
- Bill Gates cannot satisfactorily explain why he was hanging out so much with Jeffry Epstein.
- The Ukraine appears so important to the US that they've pretty much written Ukraine a blank cheque;
- Crypto exchange FTX appears to have siphoned funds back from the Ukraine and into the coffers of politicians in the US;
- Sam Bankman-Fried is the fall guy.
- Russia can do fine despite sanctions;
- Western Europe and the rest of the developed world are going to freeze and suffer crippling inflation because they do not understand that Russia can do fine despite sanctions;
- The developed world, but Western Europe in particular, are committing the biggest act of self-harm in human history.
- Covid was a scam;
- Lockdowns killed and are going to kill more people than Covid;
- Some colds are worse than Covid.
- The mRNA jab from Pfizer is killing and injuring millions and no-one is allowed to talk about it;
- The MSM are complicit;
- Excess mortality is a thing, currently running at 15% in New Zealand alone.
- The Queen died and was a nice old lady;
- Her son the new King Charles is a nice chap but appears a bit weak;
- Prince Harry is a plonker.
- The western world is hellbent on introducing central bank digital currencies and social credit systems. The whole Covid scam was a trial run leading up to this;
- Now we have the 15 minute city, where you'll be locked in your zones;
- This all sounds very China;
- China is beginning to fall apart with demonstrations across the country and minorities are being persecuted relentlessly;
- Lockdowns are used to suppress political dissent;
- Xi Jinping could well be mad.
- Elections are rigged everywhere.
- Supply chains are a mess.
- Our own governments hate us;
- Some people remain blind and believe the lies because the truth hurts so much and is so unpalatable.

Argentina FIFA World Cup 2022 Champions
Have we witnessed the best soccer game of all time? I think we may have. Argentina looked to have the game sewn up, they were in total control and putting on a master class. Then, France found a way back with Mbappe scoring twice to tie the game up at fulltime. Then in extra time, both teams scored with Mbappe getting a hat trick when he scored from the spot in the 118th minute.
Then to penalties. I hate this, I believe it cheapens the game. They really need to sort it out, perhaps going to golden point and just continuing to play until one of the teams scores.
The entire world is now happy Argentina's captain, Lionel Messi finally received a winners medal. I'm glad Argentina can now party for the next four years and maybe try to go back-to-back.
Score: Argentina 3 - 3 France (penalties 4-2)
[Side note: we didn't need to see so many picture of that little weasel the President of France, Macron. Broadcasters - stop that.]

World Cup Final 2022
Argentina vs France in the final of the World Cup 2022. I'm looking forward to it, and may the best team win. However, a gripe of mine is that the media are framing this as Mbappe vs Messi. I wish they'd cut that out, there are two fine teams involved and it isn't just about those two. And all I ask is, please don't let the referees decide the outcome.

Ron DeSantis calls for Grand Jury
Those calling into question the response to the Covid scamdemic, and the jab itself are becoming mainstream. Check out Elon Musk's tweet, and now Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis is calling for a grand jury investigation.
This time next year, the science will be settled and arrests will have been made. Make no mistake, this is the biggest case of mass murder in human history. Bigly big big. Bigger even than all mass murders added up and put together. Some may call it genocide, but seeing as I'm a reasonable type of guy and this is my ultra reasonable, totally science based blog, then I'm not saying that here (go to Gab to find out what I think about the suggestion this was genocide). What I am saying is that the world was lied to, that governments everywhere acted in concert to cover it up, knowing they were going to kill lots of people. I call that criminal.
Lock them up:

Qatar 2022: Best World Cup Ever?
Thank you Qatar, for putting on an excellent tournament. The jealousy is tangible (see attached link), but all these critics can go and shove their heads in a bucket full of water. This must go down as the best world cup event ever.
There have been several boil overs, upsets, and an African team through to the semi-finals for the first time. Things have gone off without a hitch. And what about alcohol? Who needs it, get over yourselves all you drunks. I'm glad Qatar changed position and banned the sale of beer at stadiums.
And regarding deaths during construction; the time to bring this up was back then, during construction. Now is not the time to be raising the issue. Personally, I'm amazed they built the entire infrastructure so quickly and so well. Good job, Qatar.

UK: Look At This
The wording in the text boxes:
SPRING 2020
- COVID first starts killing 35 to 60-year-olds on 08-Feb-20. Left alone, it would have been associated with under 2,000 deaths, no more than any other influenza-like, seasonal pathogen (ILSP), albeit late in the “season”.
- The government introduces “social distancing” measures to control the spread on 21-Mar-20. Instead of limiting COVID deaths, it increases all deaths as a result of increased stress, and inadequate or inappropriate medical treatment.
- The official reported COVID death tally does not represent deaths associated with the virus at all. It simply identifies which deaths caused by the government intervention were of people who also tested positive for the virus. It is a completely useless metric. You can see marked on the chart that real COVID deaths do not begin to be fairly reflected again until 09-May-20.
- A more useful metric is the total excess (or unexpected, or avoidable) deaths, over and above those that would have occurred without intervention. These amount to well over 3,000, one and a half times as many deaths as the virus would have caused on its own.
AUTUMN 2020 / WINTER 2021
- COVID returns in late Sept, just like seasonal, respiratory pathogens always do in England. Left alone, it would have been associated with over 3,000 excess deaths, a little higher than regular ILSPs due to the damage done to population immune systems as a result of earlier interventions and prolonged use of masks.
- The self-limiting distribution of death is interrupted abruptly by the start of the mass mRNA experiment in the week following 5-Dec-20, which coincides exactly with a reversal in reported COVID deaths as well.
- The result of the medical experiment on otherwise mainly healthy individuals is excess deaths, over and above those associated with the ILSP, of over 5,000, again more than one and a half times higher than the deaths due to the virus itself.
SUMMER 2021
- In one of the most remarkable epidemiological events in history (that went completely unremarked by expert epidemiologists and journalists), an ILSP returns in the middle of the “low season” and is associated with more death than a regular ILSP in the high season.
- In the summer of 2021, COVID is associated with almost 2,000 deaths in half the time that a regular ILSP usually takes over the course of an autumn and winter.
- That said, only half the deaths are officially reported as COVID-positive so the rest must be due to the impact of the mRNA experiment directly (which has widely published multitudinous other pathogenicities) and the ongoing negative collateral of the earlier interventions.

Netflix Documentary - Prince Harry and Meghan What's Her Name
Netflix have a trailer up on YouTube regarding their soon to be released documentary about Harry and Meghan, the deluded duo from Montecito, California. What's interesting about this is they've left the comments section open. It is hilarious, with most comments starting with "I love the part..."
It looks as if Netflix realise what a total bomb this is going to be. This docu-series is going to be so dire, it will be known as a work of art; that bad. If they had any smarts they'd have realised what a turkey the whole idea was and had another team working on filming a behind-the-scenes 'about the series' documentary. This could be a ratings winner, everyone would watch that circus.
I'll leave the trailer here, check out the comments, they're pure gold:

Gab
Since my permanent suspension from Twitter, I've become a regular user of Gab. To begin with this was fine, but over the past 2-3 months its owner, Andrew Torba has become increasingly unhinged. He thinks of himself as a protector of American constitutional first amendment rights, but this is only partly true. What he is also doing is allowing those who shout the loudest to disrupt those who want intelligent discussion or simply sources of information.
The owner's approach is rather like that of a poor teacher. Teachers who allow ongoing disruption in the classroom, fail both the disruptive student and those there to learn.
People often say that Gab is a free speech platform and to either get used to it, or mute or block people. With the latter approach, that's rather like sitting in the noisy room with your ear plugs in and music playing to block out the disruptive noise. It may work in some minor way, but it doesn't work overall.
What I'm saying is that Mr Torba is being inconsistent. He doesn't allow pornography for instance, but he does allow egregious hatred, such as antisemitism and abuse of others by the rabid few. So, the site is moderated, but ineffectually. This I think reflects Mr Torba's personal views rather than any coherent social media policy.
So, I think Gab will fail. It must fail if it maintains its current trajectory. This may be a good thing as Mr Torba's idea of developing a parallel economy is foolish in the extreme. If anyone was to follow his advice, they stand to lose a lot of money.
I'm staying with Gab until after the 2023 general election in New Zealand. After that, I'll be looking for a stable hangout. Possibly that social media space hasn't yet been established.

Cancel your Netflix subscription. I've seen a clip promoting the Prince Harry documentary, he talks about closed doors and seeing behind them, something like that. Yes, doors are closed for privacy reasons, that's why they're closed. Some things deserve to remain private. We don't need to hear any of this. Word of advice for the British Royal Family. Parents Fight Health Authorities
In New Zealand, the parents of a four-month-old boy awaiting surgery for a heart condition, have refused blood from Covid vaccinated donors. The health authorities have applied for a limited authority to conduct the operation without the consent of the parents.
The question I have: at what point do you lose bodily autonomy. We've had jab mandates which have coerced people into undergoing a medical procedure, the infamous 'no jab, no job'. With serious questions surrounding the Pfizer jab, the parents concerns seem reasonable. However, can their wishes be set aside and the authorities take over? Clearly, there are instances where this can and even should happen. I'm not convinced this is one of those instances.
In the interview the parents say their baby has severe pulmonary valve stenosis, and that he needs surgery “almost immediately”, but that they are “extremely concerned with the blood [the doctors] are going to use”.
“We don’t want blood that is tainted by vaccination,” the father said. “That’s the end of the deal – we are fine with anything else these doctors want to do.”

Funeral Business Looks Promising
Hot Tip - Occupation - Become involved in the funeral business
One short course in embalming at the Wellington Polytech and you're ready. People are dying left, right and centre. What a time to be earning some real dosh.
Back when I was 15 I thought about becoming an undertaker. It was that or be a vicar. I did neither and that was my mistake. Had I become a vicar, I'd have only worked on Sundays and apart from that I'd have to go around getting little old ladies to leave the church money in their will.
I visited a funeral director at age 16, just checking things out, and looked at their range of coffins. An excellent selection and quite comfortable looking. I came home with the plan to buy my own coffin and store it in the basement. Alternatively it could become my bed, that's how good it was. Think about it, if I died in my sleep, they'd only have to close the lid and these things weren't ever going to go down in price.
My father thought this was an excellent plan. But, when I put it to my mother she fair hit the ceiling. I still have not figured out her objection to her brightest child having his very own coffin. Upon reflection, it is possible my father promoted this idea as a way to rile my mother. Hmmm.
Anyway, now with excess deaths running at 20%+ and getting worse, the funeral business looks to be the hot ticket.

Lydia Ko - Champion
New Zealand golfer, Lydia Ko is back on top with her win in the season ending CME Group Tour Championship. I feel a sense of relief that she's back to the top where she belongs. She is such an inspiration and might I say, she's looking really fit.

England Lose - Sour Grapes
England lost to New Zealand in the final of the Women's Rugby World Cup and cannot seem to get over it. After going into the tournament as red-hot favourites, they came up short when it really mattered.
After a red card offense for reckless play leading to head contact, and the injuring of the other player early in the game, England now want to change the rules. In doing so they may end up endangering players. England coach, Simon Middleton is claiming the red card for England's Lydia Thompson was unfair as it was 'accidental'. What Middleton appears to be calling for is lengthier yellow cards for such head contact.
This endangers players and must be summarily dismissed as a proposal. The effect of it would mean no real penalty for foul play. In the final played over the weekend, England went down to 14 players for the remainder of the match after a collision by Thompson with New Zealand's star player and all-time great, Portia Woodman, which led to the NZ player being put out of the game. If Thompson was to get 20 minutes in the sin bin, she could re-enter the game, England would be back to 15 players, but NZ loses its biggest talent. There is an obvious dividend received by the offending team. They would succeed in eliminating their biggest try-scoring threat.
In this case, Thompson made no attempt to avoid contact. She simply ran into Woodman, there was no tackle, it was simply reckless play. Watching the game I knew it was a red card offense but commented that it'll be a yellow due to the game being a World Cup final. When the referee conducted the mandatory video review and called the play a red card, I was gobsmacked. Finally, a rugby referee called it correctly and against England who think they own the game. Credit to the referee.
But play such as that by England must always result in a sending off. Player safety is paramount.

GOP Looking Like Los Angeles Lakers
With some key races in the US midterm elections yet to be declared, the GOP is looking a bit shabby. They're like the LA Lakers, packed with stars but cannot win a game. At this rate they could even end up without a majority in either the House of Representatives or the Senate. They talked a big game but when it really mattered, they're just a bunch of old men. The exception of course is Ron DeSantis who cleaned up.
Throw Donald Trump out of the party. He holds no elected office and has too much influence.

US Midterms 2022 - Abortion Debate
Once the dust has settled, it'll be interesting to see whether the overturning of Roe v Wade had any bearing on the GOP's lacklustre performance. We know Latino and Hispanic voters have been moving toward the Republicans, but that may have been balanced by more women moving toward Democrat. I am interested to see the demographics analysed.
Trump Hinders GOP Cause
An interesting article on why the GOP didn't receive a red tsunami:
https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/23448972/midterms-results-democrats-senate-red-wave
What these midterms made clear is that these divisions will likely persist so long as Trump remains a major force in politics. When Trump recedes to the background of the news — as he did in the fall of 2021, when Virginians voted — and Republicans modulate their presentation, they seem to be able to win over wavering Democrats.
But now he’s back. Trump is highly effective at motivating infrequent GOP voters and winning the intense loyalty of his base. Then again, Trump has also alienated an even larger group of voters, including many swing voters, and the GOP suffered for that on Tuesday as the red wave they dreamed of failed to materialize.

Nancy Pelosi's Husband Attacked
I'm hearing conflicting reports about what exactly happened in the home of Paul and Nancy Pelosi. According to the MSM, a right-wing kook broke in and attacked Mr Pelosi in his home in San Francisco. However, reports contradicting that say the attacker was known to Mr Pelosi and was allowed into the house, whereupon an argument erupted. Which to believe? How about the police release the 911 call which was apparently left connected during the altercation, and the police body cam footage from the attending officers.

The Great Reset
We keep hearing of the Great Reset. This appears to be a future where you will own nothing and you will be happy. A world where there will be no cash, instead money will be replaced by a central bank digital currency or CBDC for short. The new currency would be programmable, meaning what you spend and how you spend it can be controlled. I'll leave you to contemplate how dystopian this sounds, it is truly horrifying. But it is real, don't forget that, this is not some wackadoodle conspiracy theory. Rishi Sunak, the new prime minister of the UK has said that a CBDC will be introduced before the end of 2025.
What I am addressing with this blog post is just how stupid is this proposal. In New Zealand, banks are currently making record profits. But, the banks appear unaware of their looming extinction. If the world moves to CBDC's there will be no need for banks. Those CBDC's will exist on the block chain and be un-hackable. The currency cannot be stolen, and your access to your funds will be by permission and likely linked to your own personal biometric data. While this does sound clever, it too is incredibly stupid. For some reason the people who design these systems have never heard of bad people and their hammers meeting your kneecaps, or even a saw for removing your hands to access your data.
But I digress. This reset will remove debt, banks will cease to exist as there will be no mortgage lending. Bank shareholders must be informed of this as their holdings are worthless under this proposal. You will own nothing, and so you will not need to borrow to buy a house.
The World Economic Forum appears to have come up with this nonsense. They're a cult that meets in Davos, Switzerland every year. The great and rich fly in to meet one another thinking they're very clever. But they haven't thought this Great Reset through. In implementing this proposal, they're wiping out their own wealth and handing all control of their finances to central banks. Who controls those central banks appears an open question. Have these fools never heard of war and revolution?

Rishi Sunak Britain's Prime Minister
Britain has a real problem all right. Rishi Sunak is to become the UK's next prime minister. He's young, only 42, the youngest prime minister since 1812. That's back when Britain still had rotten boroughs. He has the support of only 56% (or thereabouts) of his own colleagues. Why isn't that an overwhelming majority?
Sunak has called for unity and stability. The problem as I see it is he's one of the architects of those many problems. It's like putting the poacher in as gamekeeper.

US Diesel Stocks Running Low
Just putting this here for you to ponder. It is reported that the US is down to 25 days of diesel left in the system. If stocks become depleted, nothing moves, farming stops, diesel is that critical to everything. Places like New Zealand will really suffer as the US has huge buying power and they'll bid up the price, meaning NZ will be left with nothing.

A Coup for Britain
Let's be honest, there is no longer a Conservative government in the UK. They now have a Remainer-led, globalist, Labour agenda, tax and spend party. Today, Penny Mordaunt while standing in for the prime minister (who could not even show up in the House of Commons), denied the accusation that there had been a coup. It appears obvious to anyone that this is what has happened.
Jeremy Hunt is effectively now the British prime minister. The man nobody wanted, is now leading and there is nothing that can be done about it. Or is there?
October 16, 2022
Who will be Britain's Prime Minister Today?
It looks as if Liz Truss is toast. She's just had to sack her finance minister, Kwasi Kwarteng who goes by the bloated title Chancellor of the Exchequer.
What is going on in the United Kingdom? They had the wind behind them after leaving the sinking ship known as the EU. Then, they went crazy.
Theresa May was a washout. Then they were foolish to appoint Boris Johnson as prime minister. Johnson is about Johnson, it's important to remember that. Country comes a distant second with people like him. Now, Liz Truss who cannot stay on course for more than a few weeks at a time. She's like a leaf on the breeze, bring blown all over the place.
Who actually runs the United Kingdom? Is it the World Economic Forum, the UN, or a cabal of industrialists and bankers. Possibly all of them. It certainly isn't those elected to lead. Recent events suggest someone else is in charge. Look at lockdowns, mandates, and a looming war with Russia. Britain should have none of it, it is in no shape to fight any kind of war whether against a virus or country.
I have seen comments online calling for another Oliver Cromwell and I can see how people would think like that.

DemocracyNZ Registered
I've been calling for this for a long time; a centrist political party to replace National. DemocracyNZ could be that party. They're founded and led by former Northland MP, Matt King. During the scamdemic I embedded videos of King interviewing epidemiologist Simon Thornley about Covid. King is a clear thinker and opposed mandates. Now he's also criticising Labour's fart tax proposals which will rip the heart out of rural New Zealand.
Travelling around NZ, Matt King is drawing hundreds to his meetings. More than 400 attended one meeting in Christchurch alone. That's significant as Christchurch is heartland Labour, but it also has a couple of suburbs that are blue hair-dye National. If the National leader held a public meeting in Christchurch, he'd struggle to get 200 to attend.

Prince Harry and his Children
I've been sitting on the fence about this one, there are those who say Prince Harry has no children. Until recently I'd just say I don't know, but I'd like to see them in the flesh.
Archie Mountbatten-Windsor would be 3 years 5 months of age by now; he should be attending Kindergarten. Where is there evidence of his existence?
Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor would be 1 year and 4 months old and we have even less evidence of her existence.
But, recently I decided to simply consider these children non-existent apart from in the form of child actors (or children borrowed from friends or whatever). That's because of Harry's unconvincing statements online. He described Archie's squeaky voice and said that Lilibet was finding her voice. In describing them he did not sound like a parent at all.
King Charles must demand the children be proven, have them DNA tested and have witnesses swear on oath that Prince Harry's wife gave birth to them. I suspect this is going to become the biggest royal scandal of the century when fully exposed.

Tyranny has had a makeover. It’s no longer a boot stamping on a human face forever. It isn’t a gruff cop dragging you into a cell for thinking or expressing a ‘dangerous’ idea. It isn’t a priest strapping you to a breaking wheel. No, authoritarianism is well-dressed now. It’s polite. It has a broad smile and speaks in a soft voice. It is delivered not via a soldier’s boot to the cranium but with a caring liberal head-tilt. And its name is Jacinda Ardern.

England: Excess Deaths
What is causing the excess deaths being recorded in England? Note that deaths are still increasing but deaths as a result of the thing that shall not be called its name have dropped away. Hmm....what could it be? 💉
https://expose-news.com/2022/09/29/record-breaking-excess-deaths-covid-vaccine/
The Office for National Statistics has revealed that England and Wales suffered another record-breaking week of deaths in the week ending 16th September 2022, with an extra 1,009 people dying compared to the five-year average.
Excluding the Jubilee Bank Holiday in early June, this means England and Wales have now recorded significant numbers of excess deaths every week for the past 22 weeks, bringing the grand total to 25,952 since the week ending 24th April.
<snip>
However, further Office for National Statistics figures that prove 94% of all Covid-19 deaths since April have been among the triple/quadruple vaccinated, and that prove mortality rates per 100,000 are highest among the vaccinated population in all age groups, strongly suggest that the Covid-19 vaccine could be a contributing factor to why so many people are dying.

The following is a useful description of the book: https://tdpelmedia.com/the-times-published-portions-from-courtiers-the-hidden-power-behind-the-crown-by-valentine-low
According to palace insiders, Meghan allegedly complained about not being compensated for royal tours, consented to an Oprah interview six months before her departure, and drove staff members to tears with bullying and temper tantrums in a shocking new book.

The Great Takedown
According to a conspiracy theory doing the rounds, this Saturday the 24th of September is when the big takedown occurs. Electricity is going to be cut worldwide, thus preventing communications and life as we've come to know it in the western world.
Oh well, it was nice knowing you all. I'll be heading for the bush as the great reset takes place. But if this takedown doesn't happen, I'll be back on deck being my usual intelligent, questioning and rather handsome self, humble too.

The Case for Kim Kardashian and Prince Harry
I was reading in a magazine aimed at women that Kim Kardashian is looking to date once again. She's busted up with Pete Davidson, whoever he is.
So, here's the deal, she's mega successful, 41, good looking and very well grounded. She's studying law and by all accounts is a very good mother. There's a lot to like about her. She's also good looking.
Then we have the soy cuck of them all, handbag Prince Harry. He's married to a mediocre actress who seems to have him well under her heel. He's gone from being happy Harry to a morose, hate filled, word salad spouting woke brigade fool.
Doing a bit of matchmaking then, let's put Kim Kardashian and Prince Harry together. Ms Kardashian would do things right, she's an old fashioned kind of girl. She wouldn't merch the British Royal Family, she's already got her own brand. Kris Jenner would be very pleased as well. The Kardashian clan need a bit of Royal respectability, while Prince Harry needs to get out of Montecito and that ridiculous house with 16 bathrooms, and move on up.
What do you think? And remember, I proposed the union first.

Will the Monarchy Survive?
I hear people saying Prince William and his lovely wife Catherine, along with their beautiful children are the modern face of the British Royal Family. I agree, yes, right now they are.
But hang on, the Queen has died aged 96. She was a link back as far as the 1920's, basically a whole century, impressive. But now we are entering a new phase, returning to normal as it were, with males ascending the throne, all of them old and ruling for 20-30 years before the next takes over. Let me explain:
King Charles is 73, coming up to his 74th birthday in November. Given the age at which his parents died, he has about 20 years at the top to look forward to. After him will come his son William, currently aged 40. When he takes over from his father he'll be 60. If he reigns for 30 years, his son will then come to the throne aged 59.
Rounding this, failing abdications or unexpected deaths, the next 80-90 years will see a pale, stale, older male on the throne. The twenty-second century will arrive and no female in sight. Male primogeniture may have gone, but it makes no difference in this scenario.
I'm not convinced the British Monarchy can survive, given the direction society has taken and contrasting with the feudal system currently in place.

TV Coverage of the Queen's Passing
C'mon mainstream media, lift your game. You've had a long time to prepare for this day and you're blowing it.
I watched the 96 gun salute broadcast by GB News, and for a lot of it, the camera was jerking all over the place and was out of focus. Then, before the end they went to voices talking over, with guests like Dr David Starkey informing the audience that the Queen probably never read a book. What?
Other technical glitches are evident, such as mics left live while the presenters whisper to one another. Sharpen up GB News.
Then through all of the coverage across many platforms, they're often getting their historical details wrong. I've lost count of the number of instances of this. Basically, turn the sound off and watch the pictures.
When mentioning the many prime ministers the Queen dealt with, no-one has mentioned Harold Wilson, reputedly her favourite PM.
And she has a large family. We don't need to hear from or need to know what Harry is doing all the time. There are other grandchildren too.

The Queen Has Died
A sad day, Queen Elizabeth II has died. As the tributes flow, I notice the words service and duty often being used. They're accurate, and she was also known for her good humour and caring nature. But above all, I would describe her as brave.
Around the world, the Queen moved amongst people with ease. These days, world leaders cower away, afraid of their own shadows. They hide behind a wall of steel. Not the Queen, she was out in the crowd meeting people. Just think, during her reign she talked directly to hundreds of thousands of people and indirectly through her speeches to hundreds of millions. No-one else can even come close to her reach across the globe
And she kept her word. This was her promise; "I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong." - Speech on her 21st birthday, April 21, 1947, broadcast on the radio from Cape Town.
The Queen first visited New Zealand in 1953. Her coronation tour visited towns and cities, and she travelled from one end of the country to the other. When in Nelson she stayed at the Hotel Nelson. At the end of her stay, the furniture in her suite was auctioned off and my mother bought a wing-back chair at that event. It sat in our lounge and was dubbed the Queen's chair. My mother wouldn't let anyone sit in it. Then, when on a visit home from university, there was my mother using it. I said, what about this being the Queen's chair? She replied, oh, I've dropped that rule now. This chair hadn't been used for 25 years!
We live in uncertain times, with a world war looming and overreaching governments imposing ridiculous lockdowns and travel restrictions. Will King Charles III be able to do his duty? I think so, he's also brave like his mother.
I found the following comment on YouTube, it hits the nail on the head:
Quelle femme, quelle mère, quelle grand mère, quelle arrière grand mère, quelle vie, QUELLE REINE ! Vous manquez déjà au monde entier votre majesté
Translation: What a woman, what a mother, what a grandmother, what a great grandmother, what a life, WHAT A QUEEN! The whole world already misses you your majesty
Queen's Health Deteriorates
Prince Charles and the rest of the Royal Family are heading to Balmoral as the Queen's health appears to have worsened. It looks like this may be it.
Whether you support the Monarchy or not, one thing is certain, she has worked tirelessly to keep the institution of the Royal Family and the Commonwealth alive.

Europe is going to Freeze this Winter
“If you turned the electricity off for a few months in any developed Western society 500 years of supposed philosophical progress about human rights and individualism would quickly evaporate like they never happened.”
Yes, things can get ugly, very fast.

Liz Truss UK Prime Minister
My choice, Kemi Badenoch did not make it, but Liz Truss is to be the third female prime minister of the United Kingdom. Here's an interesting story on how she made it through, the decider, having key allies:

What they did to Education
Some days it is just painful.
It’s tough to get out of bed, to pretend to my kids that everything is OK, and that our country is a safe and fair place to live. I cannot count the times when I have completely melted down in the last ten months, while driving alone so that they can’t see the heartbreak I feel – the broken heart that I don’t want them to see.
<snip>
Instead, we had principals, colleagues and our unions pressuring us to make us follow – or else suffer the consequences. In staffrooms around the country, a line had been drawn. If you did not roll up your sleeve, you were branded an anti-vaxxer, a threat to the students and staff, and someone who shouldn’t be an educator.
The mandate also pulled students into this division when teachers (people in positions of power) spewed their rhetoric about the unvaxxed and how dangerous they were. My heart shattered when I had a student approach me and laugh, cruelly, while saying that I would die from Covid. It seemed like all compassion and kindness had been wiped out, and at that moment it became clear we were in a two-tiered society.
<snip>
In effect, it was now unlawful for us to step foot on the property. We could be arrested and fined. Upstanding citizens who had never done anything illegal, who had cared deeply for our young students, who had dedicated years of service to teaching and helping Kiwi children to be set up for good and solid life paths, were suddenly treated like criminals. Unable to even have contact with the students into whose education we had put our hearts and souls, and years of dedication.
<snip>
Fast-forward to now. For those lucky enough to have their jobs back, or those who have been given a lesser role, such as babysitting/relief (at a much lower pay rate), they now find in the staff rooms that people who took the jab barely acknowledge what happened. They certainly don’t acknowledge the pain they have caused to their innocent fellow Kiwis. They don’t acknowledge that those of us who were thrown out like garbage, actually needed someone from our former school to call up and ask if we were OK. We needed them to stand up for our shared humanity, and our shared and sacred Human Rights.

Lord Sumption: Truth of Lockdown
Former Justice of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom has something to say about lockdowns and its effects:
archive.ph/rUXre#selection-807.0-813.106
Lockdown was an extreme and unprecedented response to an ancient problem, the challenge of epidemic disease. It was also something else. It marked one of the gravest governmental failures of modern times. In a remarkably candid interview with The Spectator, Rishi Sunak has blown the gaff on the sheer superficiality of the decision-making process of which he was himself part. The fundamental rule of good government is not to make radical decisions without understanding the likely consequences. It seems obvious. Yet it is at that most basic level that the Johnson government failed. The tragedy is that this is only now being acknowledged.

Serena Williams to Retire
Reportedly, tennis star Serena Williams will retire after the US Open this year. If she wins it, the record currently held by Margaret Court will be equalled and you'll never hear her name again. The media are desperate to see Margaret Court cancelled. But think about this; even if Williams is able to record her win at New York, she will retire having never held all four majors in the one calendar year. Two women have done that in the professional era, Margaret Court in 1970 and Steffi Graf in 1988. To my mind, Williams equalling the record of Court, still places her behind Court who has won that critical calendar year achievement.
