New Zealand Tax Issues

Did you know that right now in New Zealand the taxman, aka Inland Revenue, is clamping down hard on everyone? For the last five years they've been nicey nicey, and if you listened to the prime minister, condom-head Christopher Luxon, then you'd think the government was listening proactively, and taking actions that were sensitive to group needs and all the while fully embracing LGBTQ+ and the many diverse and inclusive whanau out there.

I tried to sound like Luxon just then, but he's actually a prize prick. Luxon looks like a timeshare salesman from the 1990's, and with the brain of a post office clerk. If he ever had an original idea, he'd die of fright.

So, what are Inland Revenue up to? Here's a quick rundown, but get in touch with your accountant if you think you are impacted, don't rely on my advice:

  • Audits were up 55% in the last quarter of 2024 (compared to the corresponding quarter in 2023)
  • New computer is looking for undeclared income; such as real estate transactions, crypto-coins, reward points with retailers - particularly spending at liquor stores, vape stores, hairdressers, and nail salons.
  • Charities are in the spotlight once again, so watch out Brian Tamaki, the recent noises in your direction are not only designed to shut you down, but tax you as well. All those caring people looking to protect Trans story time hour, are actually working for the government.
  • Fringe benefits and the treatment of shareholder accounts are coming under increased scrutiny.
The government are doing all this to grab your money off you, and then to waste it. Expect more DEI hires in the military and spending on wingnuttery. The roads will still be built to nowhere, everything will leak, we'll just be poorer overall. Given how stretched people are at the moment, going after people right now isn't the answer, stimulating growth and taking the foot off the taxpayers necks is the answer.

And don't expect any better from Labour. Chris Hipkins, that little dweeb, such a nasty little man who will go door to door to find you - he actually said that, don't forget - was this week hanging out with Victoria University of Wellington students, where his heartland voter base hides. He's plotting his comeback and dreaming up ways to inflict pain just as bad. You'll never find Hipkins hanging out with truck drivers, does he even know one?

My suggestion: ditch these clowns in Wellington. We need South Island independence, and the stopping of direct personal income tax. Oh, and drill baby, drill.

Councils Get Shakeup

This one is a vote winner from the current New Zealand government. Year after year homeowners rates go up, while the councils that maintain the infrastructure go on a spending spree. Council staff are out of control, and chasing all kinds of pet schemes and dreams.

Well, it looks as if that is coming to an end, and not before time. Changes to legislation will require councils stick to basics, and if they don't, they can face restrictions on how much they can tax their ratepayers.

This has been an obvious solution for a long time. Council staff make operational decisions - fine - but if they don't behave, defund them. There is nothing like a bit of redundancy and lack of money to rein in excess.

https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political/525788/local-councils-need-to-rein-in-the-fantasies-on-spending-pm

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon told attendees at the Local Government New Zealand conference in Wellington today that local councils need to "rein in the fantasies" on spending.

"Ratepayers expect local government to do the basics and to do the basics brilliantly," he told the conference.

"Pick up the rubbish. Fix the pipes. Fill in potholes. And more generally, maintain local assets quickly, carefully, and cost effectively."

Chris Hipkins Silent

The series of rain events and resulting floods have destroyed parts of New Zealand, including areas of Northland, Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Tairawhiti and Hawkes Bay. Apart from the few flyovers to observe the damage, there hasn't been much heard from the prime minister about the recovery. A few handouts have been announced, but that doesn't even scratch the surface of what is required. Road links need to be re-established to save farms from failing. They're running out of fuel. Billions of dollars are what is required, and thousands of earthmoving machines. Let's do this.

Two Shots for Summer

We are beginning to find out just how up to their necks in lies and deceit the New Zealand government were, and still they keep going with their 'safe and effective' narrative:

https://cranmer.substack.com/p/covid-and-our-kiwi-kids-part-2

By early October 2021 the media started to run stories that promoted the New Zealand government’s new Covid line - ‘Two Shots for Summer’ - meant to encourage all young people to get their two doses of Pfizer vaccine in order to be able to enjoy their summer with some freedoms after months of lockdown.

One such article in RNZ began: “That’s the edgy, and somewhat boozey, tag line the government’s relying on to encourage better vaccination rates in our younger population”.

The only problem was that that was not what the government’s technical experts were recommending.

NZ: Covid-19 Royal Commission of Inquiry

Predictably, the New Zealand government has announced a Royal Commission of Inquiry into its Covid-19 response.

Problems with this inquiry:

▪️ It is chaired by an Australia-based epidemiologist (Australia's response was tyrannical in the extreme); ▪️ Hekia Parata is one of the commissioners. (So, politically tainted); ▪️ Treasury woggle present. (Treasury have proven to be sock puppets); ▪️ No judge chairing the inquiry. (Big problem as those present can easily veer off course, ignore established principles and end up offering nothing of value - which is probably the purpose of this approach).

Big underlying issue:

That there was even a pandemic. It is simply assumed that we had a pandemic, even though deaths never even approached the WHO threshold for a pandemic.

RNZ report New Zealand's prime minister, Jacinda Ardern as saying; "It had been over 100 years since we experienced a pandemic of this scale, so it's critical we compile what worked and what we can learn from it should it ever happen again," she said.

"New Zealand experienced fewer cases, hospitalisations and deaths than nearly any other country in the first two years of the pandemic but there has undoubtedly been a huge impact on New Zealanders both here and abroad."

Her statement amounts to a victory lap, saying: how great she is but how things could have been done better, which is unlikely because she is perfect and did everything so much more speshully than everyone else in the world. Cos.

And then, the findings won't be reported until 2024. So, all of 2023 will be about how they cannot discuss the Covid thing because the Commission will be looking into that and will report later. So, cannot discuss, but as everyone knows Ardern is perfect and did everything wonderfully well, and so much more speshully than everyone else in the world. Cos.

Criminal conduct

And what of the New Zealand government knowingly killing people with its poisonous jab?

Conclusion:

The absence of internationally robust people on the Commission of Inquiry bench makes this a political exercise. It is planned to ensure reelection.

It is meaningless and should be ignored. Layer derision and ridicule on all who participate in this farce.

Here's an interesting piece of scuttlebutt, can anyone shed more light on this?

Winston Peters Trespassed?

The dystopian nightmare that is New Zealand right now, just got a little weirder.

Former Deputy Prime Minister, Winston Peters has been trespassed from the grounds of Parliament in Wellington. Read about it here:

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/300578826/winston-peters-trespassed-jacinda-ardern-pushes-back-on-trevor-mallards-call

The current NZ government are conducting a full scale assault on free speech.

[Update @ 4/05/2022 - Speaker, Trevor Mallard is reported to have withdrawn five of the trespass notices issued, one of them being Winston Peters]

Daylight Saving May Become Permanent?

I hate daylight saving, I hated it even more when it was extended and now the government of New Zealand want the torture to never end.

Some argument can be made for daylight saving during summer. But during winter, no way. We'd be getting out of bed when it is still dark. People will say we get all that extra daylight at the end of the day. Well, I don't need it, I rather like the sun going down when it is meant to, I can get ready for bed and my body clock readies me for sleep. I don't want 'all that extra daylight.'

This is all a distraction from the government trying to kill us. The evidence mounts on a daily basis and now they're playing games. Don't lose focus, we need to hold these murderers to account.

A rounded view of New Zealand's Covid Saga

Here's a good blog post looking at the New Zealand response to Covid-19 and the many clear red flags that arose. Was this ever about health?

Brian Tamaki Going to Jail

Word is coming in that one of the central figures opposing lockdowns in Auckland, Brian Tamaki will this morning be taken into custody and have his bail revoked. He'll be going to jail as his attendance at events is deemed to have been a breach of his bail conditions. More of this later in the morning from the lamestream media no doubt.

Why the Big October Push?

New Zealand's Labour government have been really pushing the Pfizer jab throughout October. I've been wondering why this is exactly and maybe the answer is actually quite simple: lawyer Sue Grey was due in court in late October, challenging the government's 'no jab, no job' mandate for frontline staff.

Read here: https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/health/coronavirus/126734120/covid19-ability-of-vaccine-to-reduce-virus-spread-could-decide-challenge-to-no-jab-no-job-order

If not that, then perhaps news from overseas is not good and the government, who are months behind the rest of the world, will have a lot of explaining to do. So, get as many injections done now. This is more conspiracy theory I admit.
