Parents Fight Health Authorities

In New Zealand, the parents of a four-month-old boy awaiting surgery for a heart condition, have refused blood from Covid vaccinated donors. The health authorities have applied for a limited authority to conduct the operation without the consent of the parents.

The question I have: at what point do you lose bodily autonomy. We've had jab mandates which have coerced people into undergoing a medical procedure, the infamous 'no jab, no job'. With serious questions surrounding the Pfizer jab, the parents concerns seem reasonable. However, can their wishes be set aside and the authorities take over? Clearly, there are instances where this can and even should happen. I'm not convinced this is one of those instances.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/nov/30/new-zealand-parents-refuse-use-of-vaccinated-blood-in-life-saving-surgery-on-baby

In the interview the parents say their baby has severe pulmonary valve stenosis, and that he needs surgery “almost immediately”, but that they are “extremely concerned with the blood [the doctors] are going to use”.

“We don’t want blood that is tainted by vaccination,” the father said. “That’s the end of the deal – we are fine with anything else these doctors want to do.”

Funeral Business Looks Promising

Hot Tip - Occupation - Become involved in the funeral business

One short course in embalming at the Wellington Polytech and you're ready. People are dying left, right and centre. What a time to be earning some real dosh.

Back when I was 15 I thought about becoming an undertaker. It was that or be a vicar. I did neither and that was my mistake. Had I become a vicar, I'd have only worked on Sundays and apart from that I'd have to go around getting little old ladies to leave the church money in their will.

I visited a funeral director at age 16, just checking things out, and looked at their range of coffins. An excellent selection and quite comfortable looking. I came home with the plan to buy my own coffin and store it in the basement. Alternatively it could become my bed, that's how good it was. Think about it, if I died in my sleep, they'd only have to close the lid and these things weren't ever going to go down in price.

My father thought this was an excellent plan. But, when I put it to my mother she fair hit the ceiling. I still have not figured out her objection to her brightest child having his very own coffin. Upon reflection, it is possible my father promoted this idea as a way to rile my mother. Hmmm.

Anyway, now with excess deaths running at 20%+ and getting worse, the funeral business looks to be the hot ticket.

Lydia Ko - Champion

New Zealand golfer, Lydia Ko is back on top with her win in the season ending CME Group Tour Championship. I feel a sense of relief that she's back to the top where she belongs. She is such an inspiration and might I say, she's looking really fit.

In the past I've commented on Lydia Ko twice:

I noticed her return to form in 2021: https://kenhorlor.blogspot.com/2021/04/lydia-ko-2nd-at-ana-inspiration.html

Farther back I was critical of her choosing to work with people who had an obvious conflict of interest: https://kenhorlor.blogspot.com/2018/07/lydia-ko-where-she-went-wrong.html

[Edit to add @ 28/11/2022: Lydia Ko is back to being world number 1 https://www.lpga.com/news/2022/lydia-ko-returns-to-no1 ]

England Lose - Sour Grapes

England lost to New Zealand in the final of the Women's Rugby World Cup and cannot seem to get over it. After going into the tournament as red-hot favourites, they came up short when it really mattered.

After a red card offense for reckless play leading to head contact, and the injuring of the other player early in the game, England now want to change the rules. In doing so they may end up endangering players. England coach, Simon Middleton is claiming the red card for England's Lydia Thompson was unfair as it was 'accidental'. What Middleton appears to be calling for is lengthier yellow cards for such head contact.

This endangers players and must be summarily dismissed as a proposal. The effect of it would mean no real penalty for foul play. In the final played over the weekend, England went down to 14 players for the remainder of the match after a collision by Thompson with New Zealand's star player and all-time great, Portia Woodman, which led to the NZ player being put out of the game. If Thompson was to get 20 minutes in the sin bin, she could re-enter the game, England would be back to 15 players, but NZ loses its biggest talent. There is an obvious dividend received by the offending team. They would succeed in eliminating their biggest try-scoring threat.

In this case, Thompson made no attempt to avoid contact. She simply ran into Woodman, there was no tackle, it was simply reckless play. Watching the game I knew it was a red card offense but commented that it'll be a yellow due to the game being a World Cup final. When the referee conducted the mandatory video review and called the play a red card, I was gobsmacked. Finally, a rugby referee called it correctly and against England who think they own the game. Credit to the referee.

But play such as that by England must always result in a sending off. Player safety is paramount.

GOP Looking Like Los Angeles Lakers

With some key races in the US midterm elections yet to be declared, the GOP is looking a bit shabby. They're like the LA Lakers, packed with stars but cannot win a game. At this rate they could even end up without a majority in either the House of Representatives or the Senate. They talked a big game but when it really mattered, they're just a bunch of old men. The exception of course is Ron DeSantis who cleaned up.

Throw Donald Trump out of the party. He holds no elected office and has too much influence.

US Midterms 2022 - Abortion Debate

Once the dust has settled, it'll be interesting to see whether the overturning of Roe v Wade had any bearing on the GOP's lacklustre performance. We know Latino and Hispanic voters have been moving toward the Republicans, but that may have been balanced by more women moving toward Democrat. I am interested to see the demographics analysed.

Trump Hinders GOP Cause

An interesting article on why the GOP didn't receive a red tsunami:

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/23448972/midterms-results-democrats-senate-red-wave

What these midterms made clear is that these divisions will likely persist so long as Trump remains a major force in politics. When Trump recedes to the background of the news — as he did in the fall of 2021, when Virginians voted — and Republicans modulate their presentation, they seem to be able to win over wavering Democrats.

But now he’s back. Trump is highly effective at motivating infrequent GOP voters and winning the intense loyalty of his base. Then again, Trump has also alienated an even larger group of voters, including many swing voters, and the GOP suffered for that on Tuesday as the red wave they dreamed of failed to materialize.

US Midterm Elections 2022

What a damp squib that turned out to be. Surely Donald Trump is finished now. The man who brought us Operation Warp Speed that has resulted in the poisoning of so many. He hasn't apologised, instead he boasts of his accomplishment. The Republicans need to find someone to run in 2024, that is not Donald Trump. My pick would be Ron DeSantis, but that's just me.

Excess Deaths in 2022

How come we have record excess deaths, even though the jab has been shot into millions. Could it be the jab itself is killing people?

Nancy Pelosi's Husband Attacked

I'm hearing conflicting reports about what exactly happened in the home of Paul and Nancy Pelosi. According to the MSM, a right-wing kook broke in and attacked Mr Pelosi in his home in San Francisco. However, reports contradicting that say the attacker was known to Mr Pelosi and was allowed into the house, whereupon an argument erupted. Which to believe? How about the police release the 911 call which was apparently left connected during the altercation, and the police body cam footage from the attending officers.

The Great Reset

We keep hearing of the Great Reset. This appears to be a future where you will own nothing and you will be happy. A world where there will be no cash, instead money will be replaced by a central bank digital currency or CBDC for short. The new currency would be programmable, meaning what you spend and how you spend it can be controlled. I'll leave you to contemplate how dystopian this sounds, it is truly horrifying. But it is real, don't forget that, this is not some wackadoodle conspiracy theory. Rishi Sunak, the new prime minister of the UK has said that a CBDC will be introduced before the end of 2025.

What I am addressing with this blog post is just how stupid is this proposal. In New Zealand, banks are currently making record profits. But, the banks appear unaware of their looming extinction. If the world moves to CBDC's there will be no need for banks. Those CBDC's will exist on the block chain and be un-hackable. The currency cannot be stolen, and your access to your funds will be by permission and likely linked to your own personal biometric data. While this does sound clever, it too is incredibly stupid. For some reason the people who design these systems have never heard of bad people and their hammers meeting your kneecaps, or even a saw for removing your hands to access your data.

But I digress. This reset will remove debt, banks will cease to exist as there will be no mortgage lending. Bank shareholders must be informed of this as their holdings are worthless under this proposal. You will own nothing, and so you will not need to borrow to buy a house.

The World Economic Forum appears to have come up with this nonsense. They're a cult that meets in Davos, Switzerland every year. The great and rich fly in to meet one another thinking they're very clever. But they haven't thought this Great Reset through. In implementing this proposal, they're wiping out their own wealth and handing all control of their finances to central banks. Who controls those central banks appears an open question. Have these fools never heard of war and revolution?

Fishy Rishi Leads Banana Republic

Rishi Sunak Britain's Prime Minister

Britain has a real problem all right. Rishi Sunak is to become the UK's next prime minister. He's young, only 42, the youngest prime minister since 1812. That's back when Britain still had rotten boroughs. He has the support of only 56% (or thereabouts) of his own colleagues. Why isn't that an overwhelming majority?

Sunak has called for unity and stability. The problem as I see it is he's one of the architects of those many problems. It's like putting the poacher in as gamekeeper.

US Diesel Stocks Running Low

Just putting this here for you to ponder. It is reported that the US is down to 25 days of diesel left in the system. If stocks become depleted, nothing moves, farming stops, diesel is that critical to everything. Places like New Zealand will really suffer as the US has huge buying power and they'll bid up the price, meaning NZ will be left with nothing.

From the US:

US is running out of diesel

Iceberg Lettuce Outlasts Liz Truss

Liz Truss lasted 45 days. Has the UK become the new Italy?

Of course, the new leader should be Kemi Badenoch, the most popular MP amongst party members. However, the 1922 Committee made the support of 100 MP's the threshold to get onto the ballot to be held online. This narrows down the field and limits the options given to members of the Conservative Party.

There seems to be a concerted campaign by a minority of the Conservative MP's to insert Rishi Sunak into No.10 Downing Street. They're going to keep wrecking until the person put against him is rejected by party members (and thus Sunak wins by default). The threshold to get onto the ballot seems to be designed to keep Kemi Badenoch out of the running, even though she's the most popular amongst members. We are witnessing a WEF puppet being inserted, a coup by foreign capital to take control of the UK.
