Reaction to UK

Britain Is Screwed
Listening to Lionel Shriver, you can hear the tension in her voice. Britain appears over, as the changes being made by unrestrained migration are permanent. How can Britain survive?

Donald Trump in Scotland
Good to see Donald Trump pursuing his passion for golf in the land that invented it. I'm embedding ITV News below simply for the comments which take the channel to task for their bias. Say what you like about Trump, but what did he say here that is wrong?

Immigration UK - Migrant Crisis?
We see the issue of migrants arriving in the UK being raised on the internet, but on MSM opponents to migrants are typified as 'far right' extremists.
Is there a crisis?
Most certainly there is, net migration numbers have increased markedly over the last few years. The scale of what is happening is unprecedented. The proof:

And let's throw in a line graph to illustrate:

Millionaire Migration
Who is attracting the most millionaires to their shores? Looking at the data, New Zealand seems to be doing fairly well, with a small net migration inflow. Millionaires are a good migrant because they tend to make good investment decisions and they invest in businesses that employ more people.
The country doing the worst is the United Kingdom. The UK is really plumbing the depths with its idiotic government.
Anyway, study the graph which shows the net position:

Immigration UK
Immigration into the UK is out of control. I wondered how to word that statement and I cannot think of any other way of putting it.
If we look at 2022 and 2023 alone, the net inflow stands at 1.44 million people. They are arrivals in excess of those departing, with the intention of settling permanently. The UK has a population of just under 67 million, meaning 2.2% of that population arrived in the two years prior to 2024.
On what planet is that sustainable?
This influx impacts the working class the most. The immigrants must be housed and fed, their children schooled. A high percentage of them are unskilled, and so they compete for jobs against those born and bred.
Has there been a housing construction boom? Has infrastructure been ramped up to cope with the numbers? I don't think so.
Things are coming to a head in the UK, protests have become violent and the new Labour government appears unable or unwilling to cope.
Putting my conspiracy hat on: it looks as if Brexit resulted in the powers-that-be unravelling or destabilising the UK by flooding the country with migrants.
Will this result in civil war? Possibly, better be prepared I'd say. Stock up on canned food and water.

UK Migration
The ongoing protests across England right now, come off the back of very high net migration figures. In 2023, net migration stood at 650,000.
Study the below graph sourced from the House of Commons Library. During the 60's there was a net outflow, while the net migration gain only started to become meaningful during the 1990's. Then, during the 21st century, inflows have increased markedly, and become unsustainable over the last three years.
Basically, the UK government created this mess. People find their cost of living increasing, jobs under threat and their neighbourhoods transformed overnight. The UK government have to bring these numbers down to 1994-98 levels.

2023 - Ken's New Conspiracy Theory
Purely speculative this: we are aware of the wave of illegal migrants crossing the border from Mexico into the US. El Paso is awash with these people. Most of the migrants originate in central America and come from very poor countries.
Here's the idea; the US government is allowing this almost unrestrained invasion as it knows it's going to war with China and the result of that war will mean the supply of cheap goods will be cut off. These migrants will be used to work the newly established factories in the US, to replace the lost goods from China.
In 2023 I wouldn't be surprised to see two things happen; the arrest of Donald J Trump and the regularisation of the migrant arrival. The arrest will be to shut down those voices calling for a border wall or quick deportations. It has the added bonus of potentially removing Trump from running in 2024 - assuming a conviction is obtained. The regularisation of migration will be a fast-track route to legal status for those arriving and who stay clear of crime. The added bonus is these voters, at least in the immediate sense, will vote Democrat.
Anyway, we'll see if this pans out in 2023.

UN Compact on Migration
I remember reading academic papers 13 years ago (count them), that called for the removal of national boundaries when it came to migration. Now this thought process has got to the United Nations stage, and the final step will be each country implementing the ideas within their own legislation.
This is a form of theft. That's right, theft. The idea is to flood the western world with migrants and once they're established in their new countries, they can change the laws at will once they're the majority.
The problem is partly of the West's own making. They didn't make babies. So there is that. But the other part of the equation is to do with the fall of the Iron Curtain and the failure of communism, socialism, anarchism, call it what you will. This failure meant the old game plan wouldn't work, the enemy of capitalism needed a new game and they came up with a twofold approach.
The first was to ditch the colour red, for the colour green. Communists became green overnight, they were instant ecologists. But they are anything but, they are still communists. From the pocket of those who earnt it, to the pockets of those who haven't earnt it but control the distribution of it. Control the resources, the means of production, distribution and exchange and you own everything. It's got nothing to do with freeing the proletariat from the hegemony of the capitalist monster, but everything to do with greed.
The debate around global climate change (GCC) has been hijacked by these wolves in sheep's clothing. These days you hardly hear from a hard scientist on this important topic, instead it's all about the politics of GCC, and how to hobble the west while profiting the favoured few (who seem to always be the Greens - no surprise there).
Then the second approach was to use humanitarian crises to launch invasions and to make this mandated. That's what the UN Compact on Migration is about.
Think about this over Xmas folks, have a nice Saturnalia.
