What Happened to Influenza?

I know it has been said many times, but I think it worth asking the question again: what happened to influenza, and for that matter, the common cold?

Even if something nasty and experimental leaked from the lab in Wuhan, my guess is it has since gone extinct. It lived and died. Everything since is just a normal coronavirus re-branded.

Some rational questions: do you ever hear of someone being tested while having the cold; testing positive for the cold but negative for Covid? How about the answer to that is no, and all those people isolating in New Zealand have the cold. It is after all, summer in NZ and outside the flu season.

Health and safety is being used to implement authoritarian rule. Now, I know a lot of you think this is some mysterious cabal run by elites. Problem with that theory, the elites would be actually destroying their own fortunes and likely putting their own heads on the block as they're not hard men commanding armies.

If these elites are doing anything at all, they're front men for China. My thinking is if you track this back far enough, you get to the CCP. They're at war and winning because when you say the word health and then the word safety, we are now trained to shut everything down. I often joke that the NZ Army probably doesn't have any live ammunition as that would be a safety issue.

We need this hysteria to end. I don't care how this is achieved, quite frankly. If it doesn't end soon, we've lost and the PLA will be marching up High Street and the NZ Police will be doing crowd control duties for the parade.
