Google have introduced a new interface for blogs such as mine, users are having a lot of trouble with it. I'm using the old interface for now, but that will disappear in about a month. I intentionally chose an appearance for my blog that was very simple just in case that would happen and it has. Colours may no longer display the same, fonts may no longer match previous posts, who knows, everything is up in the air.
For bloggers, creating a new post and generally navigating around the new layout is proving very difficult for some, with some features no longer available or just not working, and that's if they can even find them. That's the feedback I'm hearing from those who use the new interface.
If this blog becomes inactive, you'll know why. If the new interface is unworkable, I'll probably move to WordPress or something not as good as the old Blogger. My blog is read widely, all over the world, but Google don't care about us, it looks like they just want to get rid of us. So, this could be goodbye. Bye for now.

Gmail Still Rubbish
The most annoying thing with Gmail is how you can't easily get rid of items under the promotions and social tabs. Recently I went in, marked unread items as read, deleted them, then went to the bin and emptied it. All gone then, or so I thought. Two days later I log back in, there they are again, everything back, marked as unread. I've mentioned this to others and they say the same thing happens to them. Gmail is the only free web based email that pulls this trick; they're keeping users on the site longer and forcing them to read emails you just want gone, for whatever reason.

Basically Gmail is Rubbish
I mentioned before that gmail became slow when they upgraded last time. Things have improved but only slightly. Another problem I've encountered is that emails that have been read, or marked as read, will still be showing as unread when I next log in. That's annoying. And this problem persists too when I delete the email, it will still be there in my primary inbox, or social or promotions tab when I return. I've even gone into the bin and removed items from there as well, only to have them return on next log in.
I searched around and found various ideas on how to fix this glitch. None of them worked and I think they (gmail) don't want any of it to work, they want you in the site for as long as possible, that's what it's all about. I've mentioned this glitch to people and they've said they have the same issue.
It's bloody dishonest of Google to allow such a thing; Yahoo and Outlook/Hotmail do not stoop this low. As a consequence I rarely use gmail, it is only used for some things.

Gmail Continues to be Rubbish
I'm still looking for a reliable email account. Gmail is still slow, sometimes emails won't load at all. I've tried using different browsers, all with the same or similar result. It's hard to believe Google put out such a flawed upgrade, I've tried different browsers too, all with the same or similar result.

Rubbish Gmail
The revamped Gmail is worse than I thought. Even while using the Google browser Chrome, it is chronically slow, and at times you can't even load an email, compose, or any of that. It is sometimes necessary to load the entire page again. I figure this is to boost the time a user spends in front of advertisements. Gmail is now complete rubbish.

New Gmail is Rubbish
Google have shot themselves in the foot with the new Gmail. I've tried several browsers and they're all the same, Gmail now takes a long time to log in, and once in, each individual email takes even longer to load. It is so bad sometimes I have to reload the whole page and try again.
So, for me at least, this makes gmail dead. I'm looking for a fast and efficient email provider. Yahoo I don't trust since they went cruising through everyone's email contacts (let's face it, it was them doing it, not some 'hackers')

New Computer HP 15
Finding IE11 browser to be much better than the rest. Very fast. One exception, when using blogger (this blog) signing in is difficult with IE11, keep getting an error code issued by blogger. Some sort of incompatibility? Same error happened when changing the html in this site's template. I'm prompted to quote an error code but won't bother reporting the issue, if blogger and Google can't keep up that's their problem, no? So I'm using the slower Opera browser to complete that task and this post.
I'm hopping between browsers, using IE11 for its speed and Opera when I have to do something without a problem. Trouble with Opera though is it appears to have a glitch and slows down as the cache fills up, while IE11 breezes along nicely.
