America Develops Permanent Magnet Zero Rare Earth

About fifteen years ago, China unofficially stopped selling rare earths to Japan, heavily impacting their car manufacturing. America took note and started developing permanent magnets that did not require rare earths, the result, Niron Magnetics.

Niron Magnetics make permanent magnets 50% stronger, using the most magnetic material yet known, iron nitride. They have a factory being built in Sartell, Minnesota.

I always advise, best to not piss-off America too much as they do find a workaround.
