One plausible reason for not releasing THOSE files, is that it could, at least partly, reveal to the public where exactly their retirement savings went. The suggestion is that Jeffrey Epstein was laundering money coming out of the U.S. Department of Defense. 20 trillion dollars has gone missing, that's trillion, not billion.
