UK Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer has announced plans to lower the age at which people can vote. The voting age will be lowered to 16 from the current age of 18.
Well, what is wrong with that?
There's a lot wrong with it, as it turns out. Sixteen year-olds have no or very little real-world experience. If 16, then why not 15, or 14? How about all those legally resident in the UK, regardless of citizenship?
Basically, what we are seeing is more of bonkers Britain. Starmer is desperate to hang on to power, and he must figure children can be fooled with lots of free giveaways prior to the election.
Whatever you do rest of the World, don't copy this.
