Nigel Farage Did Nothing Wrong
The UK House of Commons Code of Conduct is very clear about what gifts must be disclosed. The gift received by Nigel Farage does NOT require disclosure. The relevant rule is cited below:
42. Members should not register under this category:
a) Benefits which could not reasonably be thought by others to be related to membership of the House or to the Member’s parliamentary or political activities, for example purely personal gifts or benefits from partners or family members, or loans or mortgage arrangements on commercial terms. However, both the possible motive of the giver and the use to which the gift is to be put should be considered. If there is any doubt, the benefit should be registered;
Nigel Farage at the time he received his gift was not a member of parliament, nor did he intend becoming an MP. Thus, no-one could reasonably think this gift was anything other than personal in nature. Such personal gifts are expressly excluded and SHOULD NOT be reported.
Mr Farage is being pilloried for following the express rules.
Clearly, there is an attempt underway to neuter him politically. With a delegitimised Andy Burnham about to become PM, a General Election may be about to be called and they want Farage pushed under. His move to resign and force a by-election in his constituency is a genius move as he has now been elevated to top of the news cycle, effectively making Burnham look weak and useless.

UK Labour Now Fourth
How long has Keir Starmer got left? Labour in the UK are now below the Greens in the latest public opinion poll.
Pollster: Find Out Now, sample size 2717, 5-6 Nov., 2025 (government bold)
Reform UK 33%
Greens 18%
Conservatives 16% (Opposition)
Labour 15% (Government)
The top two parties are relatively new, while the bottom two are the old-school established parties. That must be significant.

Follow The Petition
This is amusing, there is petition now live within the UK Parliament, calling for a General Election. UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer has upset the people, the man is a complete fool. After a short time, the number of people signing the petition has gone over 1.8 million:

I would like there to be another General Election.
I believe the current Labour Government have gone back on the promises they laid out in the lead up to the last election.
Update: now at 2.7 million, what a hoot.

Labour Authoritarianism
Labour politicians simply cannot resist the urge to become completely authoritarian. It took New Zealand's, Jacinda Ardern until 2020, and then the whole country found out what a monster she was. Now, in the UK it has taken only a few weeks for the UK's Keir Starmer to fully reveal himself.

Panic at Number 10?
Was it blind panic that led Rishi Sunak to announce an election date six weeks away, right in the middle of summer?
Here are a few possibilities:
- A challenge to Sunak's leadership was looming and he wanted to go out on an election loss, not by being unseated the way predecessors were;
- War is coming against Russia, Iran and China and Sunak is running for the exit before it kicks off (this is my favourite piece of speculation);
- He heard Nigel Farage is intending to run for office, representing Reform UK, as per the embedded video below;
- Scandal is brewing, probably surrounding the British Royal Family.

Andrew Bridgen Sacked
UK Conservative MP, Andrew Bridgen has had the Conservative whip removed after he questioned the jab. He's factually correct, but that counts for nothing in this reversi world we find ourselves living in:
Side note: maybe he could jump ship to the fast rising Reform UK, giving them a presence in Westminster.

Tory MP Andrew Bridgen has lost the whip after he "crossed the line" in his criticism of the Covid-19 vaccine.
On Wednesday morning, the MP tweeted of the Covid vaccine: "As one consultant cardiologist said to me this is the biggest crime against humanity since the holocaust."
Hours later, Conservative Chief Whip Simon Hart said: "Andrew Bridgen has crossed a line, causing great offence in the process. As a nation we should be very proud of what has been achieved through the vaccine programme.
