Did the Premier League Break English Football?

I found this video very informative. The strength of soccer in England is its depth. The Premier League seems to be damaging that structure. 

Chris Wood On Fire!

Soccer: English Premier League striker, New Zealander Chris Wood has scored twice in his latest outing for Nottingham Forest against Leicester City. This brings him to outright second on the top goal scorers list for the 2024/25 season, behind Manchester City's Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland.

In NZ you'd never know this, it's as if Chris Wood doesn't exist. Weird eh, because all the time we hear about Team New Zealand and the America's Cup, even though that team is actually owned by an Italian billionaire and doesn't even compete in NZ (correct me if I'm wrong about this, I'm happy to correct).
