War in the Middle East

Surely it can't go unnoticed that the current war between Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and Israel is due to tensions resulting from lockdowns. That's the way I see it. Conditions are always tinder dry in the region, but once you add lockdowns, things were bound to kick off. 

Joe Biden is proving to be ineffective and duplicitous. He puts out statements calling for peace, but quietly appears to be giving the green light to Israel. Biden, after all, is a warmonger.

2021 is shaping to be a bad year for wars. Add civil unrest and revolution to the list as well.

What Next for 2021?

What a weird year 2020 has been. We have airlines virtually grounded worldwide and hundreds of cruise ships parked up. I believe the latter have skeletal crews keeping the ships engines running and they sail from parking lot to parking lot. If they didn't do that the ships wouldn't be useable again. Then cargo ships are being scrapped at record levels due to the downturn in trade volumes, which alone could bring about world hunger as food cannot get to where it's needed.

So what's ahead for 2021? No idea, but I think things are going to get worse, anyone prepared to say I'm wrong?
