Stefan Burns is a geophysicist who has been knocking it out of the park recently. He accurately predicted recent volcanic eruptions, and now he's accurately predicted the current earthquake swarms, the worst of which was a Richter 7.6 earthquake off Japan. He blames recent activity of the sun, fascinating stuff.
